Thank you I do appreciate that. Just today went back and purchased 2 items one as a birthday gift a pair of jeans. Unfortunately when my son opened gift he found the security tag still on the jeans so back I go again. Just need staff to be better trained, to show they care and have ability to resolve the issues.

Kohls has finally gone to far and has turned into every other business out to screw the people who keep them in business. Kohls cash is no longer accepted after the expiration date. Kohls has always honored the kohls cash after the expiration dates but not any longer. I purchased over $ 200 in merchandise thinking I would be able to use the cash. Nope. So I’m sitting in my car trying to accept this crap. Nope gonna go back in and return stuff and go to target instead.

A cashier named Desiree needs to be retrained. Horrible customer service. Nothing lasts in Merced b/​c the people that get jobs here don’t care. Kohls if u r reading this please retrain her. She us busy chatting with other employees. I’d rather order online then deal with u professionals !

Customer service is on point, quick and there for the extra mile. If I need a price check or just have a simple question, these employees usually know what they are doing or where to point me to. I love how many clearance racks they have, and at amazing prices. Getting my kids clothes here as well has never been easier! Always find what I need, unlike walmart trying to search for my kids sizes was a mess. Come here and you will not be disappointed!

This Kohls definitely has some opportunities for customer service training. A pet peeve of mine happened to me yesterday. Cashiers… If you’re about to go home, go on a break etc… Wait for a break in customers. I was in line behind someone opening a credit account (taking forever), and the cashier next to the line I was in finally was freed up. I approached the counter and she said’oh sorry I’m off’ she proceeded to flirt with the manager the entire time I waited. The manager really should have waited on me. Also, I went to ask about a certain shoe’s availability a few months back, the cashier while nice had no idea how to get the info I needed. She was alone in the department. Why would you leave an under trained employee alone like that? The store is also beginning to look like Mervyns used to (messy). There’s hardly anywhere else to shop in Merced — just wish management and training would improve.
