Ture, its not brand new however its clean, well maintained, safe, comfortable, kid, senior and mobility limited friendly.
Great accesibility off I-​90, has a wonderful staff & programimg. Hands down its my FAVORITE northwest community indoor swimming pool !

Well, I just don’t expect to see this kind of condition in Mercer Island. Yes, I feel the facility is in poor condition. Though, the staff is friendly. The facility is just really old and run down! However, the leadership team of my training group has worked out good deal and discount with them. We may have our training more frequently here.
Good thing about this pool! They have designated lap swimming area. So, people who are serious about swimming won’t get bothered by people who are there just to play with water. In addition, there’s a small pool in the back for little kids.
What’s freaky to me was there’s the peeping sound in the water. It really bothered me! We were swimming with synchronized swim team so very often you can hear the music in the water too. It’s kind interesting to me.
I don’t expect to see nice shower. But, man, the water pressure from the shower head was killing me! It was like bees sting on my skin hurt. Well, I learned how to manage not to get such strong water pressure. So, it’s all good for me. Not sure how little kids can take that but they seemed to be happy!
If the parking is full, you can always park next lot where the public theater is.

Decent little community pool. Drop in rates are reasonable, $ 5.50 in March 2014.
I bought 10-​punch pass for $ 50. Wish the discount pass was a bit better. $ 60 for a month unlimited.
Locker rooms leave something to be desired. Water a little warm for lap swim. Workers are super nice.
BUT… I work just south of downtown and this affords me a quick trip over to Mercer Island for a lunchtime lap swim! Has been difficult for me to find public pools that have lap swim available during ‘normal hours’… so this was a good find for me.
