The flavor was in impressive. There was a lot of flavored but none that I was excited to try. The service was just ok. The cashier was new so he didn’t know how to ring is up. Overall I prefer yogurt land over menchies for sure. It was expensive and lack of interesting flavor

This Menchie’s is located on Mercer Island and is one of only three ice cream and/or frozen yogurt shops on the island. The shop is located at 77 Central which is an apartment development on the main retail strip of MI. It is across the street from Walgreens and next to MI Athletic Club. There is a sign out front advertising that Menchie’s offers 2 hours of underground parking. There is also street parking available on the side streets surrounding 77 Central. The store is a little on the small side compared to the Queen Anne location that I have previously visited, but there are a few tables to dine-in here. Although there is a Menchie’s closer to my home in Bellevue, I visited this Menchie’s as I had bought an Amazon Local deal for $ 10 worth of frozen yogurt here. Hence, I grabbed the largest bowl available and started adding as many toppings on it as I could. The yogurt flavor selection is decent. I think they have about 10 – 12 choices here. There is an option to mix two flavors into one, but I didn’t like the combinations so I decided to add the flavors I wanted separately. They had a couple of holiday flavors available including pumpkin and gingerbread which I both tried. The topping selection is similar to the offerings at the Queen Anne Menchie’s. Full of candy, nut and fruit toppings to choose from. I filled my cup with things like M&Ms, yogurt chips, Kit Kat and strawberries. Even so, the yogurt still came in at under $ 8. I enjoyed both of the yogurt flavors and the toppings tasted as expected. Since I took it to go, much of the yogurt had turned to milk at the bottom. So eating it at the shop would be best to avoid this scenario. If I didn’t have a deal to redeem, I am not sure that I would be willing to pay $ 8 for this yogurt. At that price point, I would rather get a cup of Ellenos to satisfy my yogurt need. I would consider returning to Menchie’s though if they have a $ 5 promotion as that price is a bit more reasonable for dessert.

The froyo is simple amazing! Especially the cake batter! My wife loves the banana froyo. The employees always greet us with a smile and welcome. The place is always super clean and we love the easy parking. Our daughter loves all the different toppings that they offer! We actually have a Menchies in Bellevue but we prefer to come to this location since it’s so much nicer!

The store and yogurt offered is the same as any other Menchie’s I’ve been to. Nice quick stop if you’re craving frozen yogurt on the island. Three stars for the lack of attention from the employee’s part. They appeared to be young teenagers, busy socializing with their friends, or using their cell phones, rather than tending to customers waiting to pay for their yogurt. Several times throughout our visit at the store, I noticed that the cash register would become crowded with friends of the employees rather than actual customers. Other than that, everything was fine but next time I’ll take my yogurt and eat it elsewhere.

The yogurt here was great! I’m not sure what the other Unilocalers were talking about when they said that it wasn’t fresh, but I loved it! The place also had many more topping options than other froyo places I’ve been to so it was worth it. The employees were all very friendly and immediately welcomed my family and I when we walked in. The overall atmosphere of the establishment was also great. It was very clean and well taken care of. One of the machines was broken down and that was a disappointment. Plus the variety of yogurt flavors was kind of lacking, but I’d definitely recommend the vanilla if you’re looking for a nice base for your toppings! Overall I really enjoyed it here and would recommend it to anyone! If you want a great yogurt place to bring a date or friends, I’d check out Menchie’s!

I’m a bit sad that I had to give 2 stars, because they are false advertising for the $ 5 Friday’s. It happened twice now when the lady exclaimed! It’s 5 Dollar Friday so take advantage of it. Which I did and even doubled checked before filling it up. However, they charged me $ 8 …again…(my second time going in on Friday) for the 5 dollar Friday and when I asked«I thought it was $ 5 like she said» she insisted that their post is incorrect and should be updated? I am so confused with the explanation. I still paid for it because I love Menchies, but I am just disappointed with their explanation and to what is «suppose to be the 5 dollar Friday’s» when I always come out paying 8 dollar plus tax

I’m sorry Menchies but your Fro-yo is bad. I’ve tried it twice in 2 weeks and the 2nd time it was inedible. Maybe the kid crowd and little leaguers like it but it’s just not worth the $. Also, the staff is complacent and the overall cleanliness of the establishment is poor. Mercer Island needs better fro-yo. Where are you when I need you, Sirena Gelato?

I’m completely obsessed with Menchie’s and love the variety of toppings, but I’m not ever impressed with the staff. Half the time, they’re in the back office and come out a few minutes after you walk in. It’s a great place, but the team could use some refinement!

I want to give them a higher rating because I really like the yoghurt, but I’ve now been in twice in the last month where half the machines aren’t working. The reasons have been numerous and varied. «We ran out», «Something’s wrong with the machine» and«I don’t know what happened». Sadly, the employees seem to care very little…

I absolutely love this place. The staff has always been nice, helpful and informative. Sounds silly, but it really feels like they enjoy their jobs. They rotate their flavors and the toppings are of the perfect and vast variety.

Love love Menchie’s! The customer service has sort of gone up and down, but with the new store manager, Alfa, it is definitely UP! Great friendly staff and the yogurt is TASTY! Lots of great regular and seasonal flavors and lots of tasty toppings! You can even sample them before buying! YUM!

Yogurt and toppings are great. So is the price. However, employees are always on the phone and act like they dont care, no happy smiles or friendly greetings. Last time I was there the two girls behind the counter were eating McDonalds. In between bites of their cheese burger then rang me up. We will continue to go because of the location and the frozen yogurt.

Why three stars? Because they don’t serve water! Come on guys, keep a pitcher of water and cups available for your guests!!! Or, install a drinking fountain! I’m not going to pay a buck for a bottle of water. Bottled water is an environmental problem, not consistent with the values Menchies claims to support. Otherwise, five stars!

All froyo places taste the same to me– which is not a bad thing, because I’ve always liked the places I’ve been to. Menchie’s is no exception. I got the original tart yogurt topped with strawberries, kiwi, mochi and cheesecake bites. I packed my bowl to the top and it came out to around $ 6. I probably wouldn’t make a habit out of coming here often because of the price(I had a $ 5 for $ 10 AmazonLocal deal) but I’m sure I’ll be hitting up this place during the summer!

Menchie’s just opened up on the island. It’s great to have a frozen yogurt place closer than Yogurtland in Bellevue. The flavors are good. They have a «nutrition» guide so you can see if there are any food allergies. The prices do seem a little higher than Yogurtland, but since we can walk there, we save on gas. There isn’t easy parking, unfortunately. There are a half dozen tables or so. There seems to be a child area with smaller tables and chalkboard. There are glass doors which seem to be closable, but we didn’t actually check. The staff is friendly.
