This is our go to Starbucks on MI, as it’s spacious and the service is always excellent. The manager is super personable and knows how to get the most of out her youngish staff. Just make sure to avoid the post school let out rush, as the place is overrun for about 30 – 45 min and the line gets crazy long, otherwise any other time of day is ok. In the mornings, the baristas are literally making drinks 2 to 3 people in advance as they know the persons name and what they are going to order — very cool.

3-stars for the not-so-good customer service. Coffee quality is what you can expect, however the customer service at this location was not up to typical sbux standards. Barista’s seemed annoyed and rushed. It was an hour to closing(6pm on a Monday) so maybe that’s why. It is however a very spacious place and they have a good amount of outdoor seating. I also noticed local artwork for sale and on display. It was also the only Starbucks I could find on Mercer Island open after 6pm.

The five stars is really all for the location and the ambience. This starbucks is very spacious with plenty of outdoor seating. It is also opposite the pioneee park which means you can grab a cup of coffee and trek the beautiful trails. They have plenty of comfy indoor and outdoor sittin space. It’s nice and breezy. Indeed a lovely place to sit for hours. I also liked the fact that they were stocked well on the food. Most starbucka have something or the other missing which I am not a fan of. Will come here again :)

This Starbucks is fabulous! Since changing my job about a year ago this is my stop in the am before work. Staff are so friendly and they make my ever changing drink fabulously! It’s so nice to hear your name and«What would you like today» as soon as you walk in the door. Love it here.

This is only the second time ive been to this starbucks but I am impressed. Super friendly baristas. I sure felt welcomed! Also, the inside of it was great. Lots of seats, and even has a fireplace. Warm and cozy for sure!

Very friendly staff, clean building and made my drink just right. I really liked stopping in here. The location is great. Mercer Island is so chill. This is a nice and roomy Starbucks with lots of patio seating. Wish I was there now actually…

I went here yesterday afternoon to meet some friends for Scrabble and was pleasantly surprised. This store is HUGE! The staff is friendly(just as you would expect) and they seem to carry the full line of all the goodies that Starbucks locations sometimes have. I didn’t see very much of anything for a gluten-free person(bananas, yogurt, chocolate bars) and nut-free people will have to be very careful, or will have to skip anything not in a sealed package because the cross-contamination risk looked high. The standout feature of this location is that there are so many tables. For once, it felt reasonable for six people to sit in the side room using a couple of tables. Nobody was glaring us down for our tables or chairs, and in fact, we actually had MORE room than we needed. Outside, there is a big seating area that’s partially shaded by trellises with plants growing on them. Several people were out there enjoying the warm breeze, dogs tied to table legs, with iced drinks on the table(I’m guessing they sold way more iced-whatevers yesterday than they would on a regular day). Parking was ample and easy on three sides of the store and across the driveway along the side of QFC. Nobody was uppity about some members of our party eating QFC sandwiches inside the Starbucks. The restrooms were clean, though for such a big location, having more than one per gender would be an improvement. Still, like I said, clean. That’s all I really care about.

This Starbucks is so awesome! I always go here for hot chocolate around 6am. There is an employee by the name of Kim, she’s so cool! She told me to try toffee nut with hot chocolate. After that I’ve been doing that for months now! Kim exemplifies the true meaning of value for Starbucks. Hopefully the store manager will see this comment and acknowledge her outstanding customer service!

We are thrilled to have discovered this Starbucks! It is difficult to find any cafes with outdoor fireplaces in the first place, but this location is even better because of the friendly and courteous people they employee as their baristas. Great atmosphere and great service… we will keep going back! Oh, and thank you Starbucks for making our free drink/treat rewards even easier to achieve now!

My favorite Starbucks! I have a good friend that lives on the island and I love to go to this location with her. Great fireplace and large outdoor area. I have always found the staff engaging and the service topnotch! It doesn’t hurt that the staff is mostly cute young guys! If you want a relaxing atmosphere with your bev, this is the place on Mercer!

South Mercer Island Starbucks wins the award for the Most Comfortable Starbucks on the Island. You’d think there would only be one on the Island, right? WRONG. There are two on the north end(close to I-90), both of which have the worst parking lots and not a lot of space. The drive-thru resembles a ski lodge more than a coffeeshop, but at least there is the convenience of not having to leave your car rather than attempt to park in their poorly designed lot. Across the street you will find the«Mercer Island III» aka Tabit Village Starbucks, which could be the size of an actual living room. Good luck finding parking here… There are probably 25 spots for all 10 businesses. And then there’s the south end. Spacious seating, big, comfy couches, a fireplace, outdoor seating, a children’s area with chalkboard drawing area… What more could you ask? They also carry a wide range of retail products for all those in need of their coffee/tea/beverage fix at home. Just avoid this place on Fridays between the hours of 3pm — 5pm… Middle schoolers attack the whole area(I believe it’s called LOITERING) as if it were their own playground and the inside of Starbucks becomes an after-school daycare. Otherwise, this is a splendid spot to hang out.

Hidden in the tranqil wonderland of Mercer Island lurks a starbucks. So take the land rover that your sugar daddy/momma bought you and roll on down to the Starbucks across from QFC. Clearly Mercer keeps it real by not allowing ugly strip malls to be visible, to you must follow the sign for QFC to discover the Secret Hidden Mall. There’s a nice outside with ikea-like couches and chairs under a rain barrier and a streamlined inside where you might expect some severe german elementary class to be in session at any moment
