Both of my children have tutoring at ETC. Getting started involves a meeting with an educational specialist who helps match the child to an appropriate tutor. My son has special needs, and they have done a good job finding tutors who can work well with him, despite some difficulties along the way. My daughter, a reluctant reader, is doing well with her tutor also.
ETC is more expensive than finding and hiring my own private tutor. However, the tutors are experienced educators. I have found the school to be responsive and the tutors to have a strong commitment to their children and to fostering their academic growth.
