This campground caters to permanent campers. Their underage children are allowed to drive golf carts. Weekenders must have drivers license to drive one! My 11 yr old grandson got reprimanded for sitting on the golf cart, was told RUDELY your NOT old enough to drive that! Meanwhile the keys were in my husbands pocket. Rude staff in office. Will NOT return unless management changes!

This campground is about half-occupied by seasonal sites. The facilities are fairly clean but not anything spectacular. The two times we’ve stayed here while visiting family have been pretty nice. While the pool is very large and nice, smoking is not only permitted on the pool deck, but encouraged by the flower pots set out for cigarette butts. This really makes me nervous considering the bare feet in the area and the fact that many people don’t appreciate being around the smoke. The only other issue we’ve had happened on both trips. We went into the campground store to purchase eggs the first time and juice the second. These were items that were marked with prices and sitting in the cooler. We were told we couldn’t purchase them as they were being used for activities at the campground. I suppose they should have a separate refrigerator for that. Overall, it’s a nice place to spend a couple days, but I think we’ll be looking to stay elsewhere in the future.
