Called and asked for someone to come give an estimate to build a pool. Jim came to my home and we talked for about an hour. When he left, I gave him my email address to send the estimate to. About a week and a half went by but no estimate. I called to inquire about the estimate and was told by Jim that he got the impression that it was too expensive when he «ball parked it»!!! He then went on to say that«people» from California come here and expect to get a pool for 20K and there are pool builders who will build a pool for that fee but he was not one of them. The take away here is this: Jim, don’t ever let an impression dictate the proper and professional way that you should do business. I am a believer in that if you tell someone you will do something, then follow thru and do it. I didn’t appreciate the lack of follow thru and I certainly didn’t appreciate the comment about Californians.
