Pass on this place. The tables were dirty and the service was lacking. The steak nachos don’t look like the picture on the menu. It’s more like steak less nachos. It could be a fun place but it needs some direction.

What a solid chain restaurant! If your goal is to have a good beer menu, tons of tv’s tuned to sports and a delicious entrée then I suggest Mr. O’ Brady’s. The beer selection has new to me selections from breweries such as Payette and Salmon River and the most friendly service. The tv’s had Kobe’s last game, the Warriors going for the record, baseball, LPGA Golf and hockey. The food was outstanding!!! Ordered the Roast Beef Garlic Melt. As you may be able to see in my grainy photo it was served with a side of tater tots. In my book that instantly puts your food to a three star regardless of entrée. Luckily I thought the entrée was delicious. My sandwich was described as roast beef, red onion and provolone on pressed garlic Cuban bread. They sell the sandwich short in their description. The beef was nicely griddled and the onion was thick cut and devilish in flavor. The bread was a garlic symphony and the sandwich came with jus and creamy garlic sauce, both on the side. This was a great meal and I do not care that it came from a chain.

The fish and chips are more like fish sticks and chips. If you want to try an appetizer, skip it. The Jalapeño corn fritters and chicken wings for $ 12.49 were worth about $ 5. The fritters tasted like velveeta cheese in batter. Not good. Definitely not a good deal and unimpressed. Menu looked awesome but quality and value are not good. Atmosphere is up and fun, good sports bar screens.

I never hear much about Beef O’Brady’s. I think it is one of those hidden gems in the Treasure Valley. I have been here several times and they always deliver! Great food, great service and fun sports bar with TVs all around. Another big reason I love this place is once you hit 9 or 10pm in the Meridian/SW Boise area your choice of restaurants significantly drops as most everything closes. Not BOB’s, they stay open till 11pm! I love that about this place. If you are up for the challenge, try their OMG Burger, it is one of the best burgers I have had in town.

Good place to catch a sports game on television. Plenty of screens and the service is great. Bartender Katy was quick to refresh drinks. Food was good too.

This was our first time at Beef O Brady’s and really had high hopes’s. Location is relatively easy to get to and there were quite a few people in there. They have a good beer tap menu and the sports bar side of the restaurant seems like it would be a great place to go watch some football. I gave it three stars for the atmosphere but nothing about the food will bring us back there. We ordered chips and salsa as an appetizer and most likely it was just pace picante salsa which is nothing special. I ordered the chicken burger and even though it was all right, I physically had to take the sandwich apart to find the chicken. The french fries were just your run-of-the-mill french fries. My husband ordered their classic hot wings and received bleu cheese with it. The blue cheese was luke warm and runny. Not great. With all that said, I might just go there for a beer and watch football, but other than that won’t be having dinner there again.

Burgers are delicious! But the atmosphere isn’t great. Unbearably loud. The hostess was wearing leggings as pants and dirty slippers. The floor was dirty… Sorry, even with the good food, I won’t be going back.

First thing first. If you type the address into a gps make sure you pick the meridian address not eagle. Lol. Makes for a long drive. It’s a nice establishment sports bar/restaurant we are on the hunt for the best wings in the area.(This place isn’t it) they have good wings. The meat is good the skin a little crisp. We tried the medium and plan to go back to try the hot. I also had the bbq burger which was as good as any other restaurant. The staff is friendly and the service was quick and they were on the ball when it came to beverages. The restaurant is good definitely worth a try. But I am still on the look out for the best wings.(And don’t say Buffalo Wild Wings cause that’s not true(disgusting))

We stopped in for lunch today and had a large group(14 of us). Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful. Food was perfect and the dessert was delicious! Wonderful atmosphere!

Grilled chicken salad was supposed to be salad with grilled chicken and sautéed mushrooms. Think I got 3 slices of small mushrooms and chicken was as thin sliced add the lettuce. I love this place, it is our neighborhood bar and this salad should have had mushrooms and good pieces of chicken. Very, very small amount! Sad!

We stopped in last night about an hour before close. We had two burgers with fries. The burgers were ok, not the best I’ve ever had but certainly not the worst either. The server was very friendly, but she didn’t stop by again until we’d finished the burgers. Ketchup needed refilling so we just snagged one from the next table. Then we ordered molten lava cake. It was very rich and chocolatey. Took a while to get our check, but again, the server was very friendly and sweet. They have a LOT of televisions, so if you want to watch sports, this is a great place. They were open fairly late, so we’d probably go again. Prices were fair.

A sports bar, in my opinion– can go one of two ways. It’s either all hype and no good, or it’s lower key but a home run. I found Beef O’Brady’s to be of the latter! Spacious and level(important if anyone you love has a mobility challenge) and despite dark floors and hardwoods– surprisingly bright and airy. I visited with my friend and her two sons, one teen, one pre-teen. We were seated near a window. The menu has many choices. which again can be a red flag– I mean if they have SOMUCH on the menu, how much of it can be TRULY good? It took us some time to decide what we wanted– but we have beverages in the mean time, brought in a timely manner by our server. We wound up with 3 sandwiches and an appetizer platter. When our food was brought out our first glance seemed disappointing. there were so few french fries on the plate– but as we dug in we realized two things– the sandwiches were good sized and loaded. AND the fries. were AMAZING. The youngest in our group had the appetizer platter ‘Land, Sea and Air’ listed as: «3 fresh Angus cheeseburger sliders*, 8 tail-on fried shrimp, crunchy boneless breaded chicken pieces and fries. Served with honey mustard and cocktail sauce.» All of the items were on the plate. The sliders, which were on pretzel buns were a big hit. The shrimp and chicken unfortunately were over cooked, and the shrimp(as verified by the taster of both adults at the table) was decidedly fishy. I went with the«Roast Beef Garlic Melt”-roast beef, sliced onions and provolone cheese served hot and pressed on garlic Cuban bread. The flavors all melded together perfectly for my palate, and it was served up with some au jus. The teen and his mother both chose the«Buffalo Chicken Sandwich” — hand-breaded chicken breast fried to perfection then tossed in Beef’s® Signature Buffalo sauce, served on a toasted brioche bun with pickles and ranch dressing. Both of them proclaimed it tasty. True to the nature of a sports bar, the décor and number of flat televisions fit the bill. They appear to have a good number of beers on tap. I’d like to go back for happy hour sometime, and again for lunch. I owe my friend Nancy a thank you for suggesting we visit Beef O’Brady’s!

Nice place to grab a burger and beer or wine Very pleasant and friendly waitress Would be a great place to watch sports. Lots of tv’s. Burger was super good. Onion rings average. Within walking distance of Mariott suites. They also have tables outside.

I travel a lot for work so I love to order delivery from here(through Café Courier) after I get home. They have never once gotten my order wrong and the food is always good. Great burgers and I recommend the pub chips!

We’ve been here several times in the last 9 mths for lunch. The wait staff is super friendly and efficient! We love the burger! My favorite is the pork chop with an extra serving of grilled veggies. I find many places here are a bit heavy handed with the salt and sauces, but not the case here! Just a yummy healthy option!

Don’t waste your time looking around Meridian ID for a spot. Beef Obradys is the best. Great food, great drinks, and great service.

I walked in thinking this would be somewhat of an Irish pub. Instead, this is a typical sports bar, with plenty of televisions and sports apparel. The food portions were meh, while the pizza was definitely not their strong suit. The service was slow and unattentive. I had to send a coke back because it had a foul pipe-like taste in it. A second coke revealed no such pipey taste. Definitely not worth the drive if you live in Boise.

The main reason we went to Beef O’Bradys is because we received a coupon in the mail. If it had not been for that, I am not sure we would have risked it. Why risk you say? Well, if you are a fan of Sports Grills, you might like it here. As for me, I am not a fan of Sports Grills. I have been to several of them and everyone has let me down. Sports Grills usually have food that is greasy and have little to no flavor. The reason for this is pretty simple. Sports Grills usually hire very young under trained people that make minimum wage or less. As a result, their cooking skills are very poor to non-existent. The emphasis on sports grill, at least here in Boise, is on… you guessed it, watching sports on their many TV’s. When I walked in Beef O-Bradys, I was met, not by a hostess, but by a music machine of some sort. I have never seen a music machine like this before. It was a modern day juke box. Beef O’Bradys is what I call a Frankenstein Restaurant. It looked it may have once been alive, but has long since died. The owners attempted to bring it back to life, but did a very poor job, and it looks like it might keel over at any moment. The restaurant is split right down the middle. Half of it is a bar, and the other half is the restaurant. Neither lives up to its potential. The bar areas is extremely noisy. Its not really because the patrons are that out of control. The excessive noise is caused by no carpet on the floor, or anything else that can absorb sound. The other problem is a very short half wall that does absolutely nothing to block out the noise from the bar area. The restaurant area, like so many Sports Bars, suffers from an identity crises. It looks more like a bar area that was converted into a failed attempt at a restaurant. In spite of all this, we set down to dinner. Our waitress seemed nice enough. We started with our drink order. I ordered a non-alcoholic Pina Colada. On a side note, I was very excited that they offered some non-alcoholic drink choices. In Dallas, there was once a restaurant called Noahs Ark. They had a huge selection of Mock-tails. I miss this a lot. My wife ordered a Ginger Ale. Our waitress got not just 1 of our drinks wrong, she got them both wrong! And that was with her writing the order down! I was brought out a Margarita, which was horrible tasting. The best description of the taste that I can come up with is this. Go to your local grocery store and buy a dry in-the-envelope Margarita mix. Cut open the envelope and pour the contents directly into your mouth. My wife was brought out a root beer. The waitress apologized and went to get the correct drinks. She soon appeared with my wifes Ginger ale. She told me that they had run out of Pina Colada mix. Huh… a mix??? It seemed that one here knew how to make a real Pina Colada that was not from a mix!!! Well, this was a very bad sign, but we decided to grin and bear it. Beside, we were both very hungry. My wife had a buffalo chicken wrap. I had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. My daughter had her usual… Chicken tenders. The chicken tenders were actually grease non-tenders. The wrap was… well…not good at all. I will leave it at that. The bacon burger was actually not bad. It was one of the better burgers I have had of the Sports Bars that I have been to. But in comparison to an actual restaurant, I would give it a 4 out of 10 stars The best part of it was the bacon. The bacon was crisp and smoky tasting. But the bacon was the only thing that gave the burger any flavor. The meat was dry and over-cooked. After I left, I could feel the grease from the bacon coat my mouth. The bottom line for this place is that it is in desperate need for a make-over. Both the food, the décor, and Frankenstein itself.

This review is not on the food, but on the service. I have actually eaten here a few times in the past, and while the service has always Been spotty, I have always liked thier wings. Any other food items were forgettable. This review is based on a visit recently where I and a friend came, were greeted by the hostess and were seated. So far… No problem. Here’s where the issue is. We waited for 10 minutes… No one came by to ask for a drink order, or even acknowledged us. The 2 girls waiting tables made every effort not to make eye contact with us. While this was going on, the hostess, who was stationed right next to our table cleaned menus, looking at us now and then. After waiting with no acknowledgement, we got up to leave, and the hostess wished a nice evening. We went o the Ram, had drinks, and a meal and dropped $ 75.00.
