Dead On Archery

Dead on Archery is a pretty cool spot. I have no significant knowledge or skill when it comes to archery but I found out about them through Groupon. I found a coupon to get two people in to shooting their dart simulator which simulates you hunting in the wilderness. It was a lot of fun and a really sweet set up. The staff was great they treated us really well and helped us out with it being our first time there. We were able to rent equipment from them for 10 dollars a piece which was cool. The simulator is downstairs in simulator dark room with a big screen to shoot at, it worked really well and was fun for both of us. The store seemed like it had a lot of great gear if I ever get into archery I will definitely go there. I’m definitely going back to use the simulation system again.

I turned in my bow to get it tuned. They not only tuned my bow but they fixed a few arrows, waxed the string, installed a peep sight, sighted me in, and then went over my form. The staff is amazing at what they do and enthusiastic. Ill be going there from now on.

In one word, «impressed!» I was in the industry since the late 80’s, and have a very good working knowledge of archery. The employees at «Dead On» were not just knowledgable, but very friendly. They really know their stuff, and are willing to help you without making you feel like you need buy the shop!
After 30 years with a compound I’ve have decided to make the jump to a longbow. They were extremely helpful and their stories and experiences have gotten me so excited I am counting the days until hunting season. I even plan to attend their long bow building class in February.
