3.5 score for us… Everyone relax… we are not talking about Michelin star rated cuisine. I try to come see these folks for a local bite of Asian food. It is run by a quiet lady and the unseen kitchen staff/cook. If you are needy and high maintenance, you may need to go to Olive Garden. I like the variety of offerings. Try the deep fried mushroom app… from fresh mushrooms and light batter. We had General tso’s chicken and Szechuan beef. Great tender beef… big portions… give them a try.

I’m not one to ever do a negative review, however this was highly disappointing. I called for take-out so didn’t look at the food in the bags before I left… and I was the last customer of the day. Pad Thai was just a blob of dried out noodles. Fried rice was a container of brown rice with strips of thin pork on it. That was it. Not even fried. No vegetables, nothing. I’ll find another restaurant next time!

Disgusting. I ordered the Phó and my wife ordered the spicy beef noodle soup. Both tasted like armpit. I assume the broth was a few days old because the place has no business. When we first walked in for lunch the place was totally empty and their was dirty dishes on tables everywhere. That should have been our first clue. But we will not be returning.

FOOD rating; 3 stars. Had the Phở and Vietnamese Eggrolls —deLiSH. Dipping sauce could be alittle stronger. Tasted alittle dilute. And would liKe to see chili paste as an option not just rooster sauce. This food fix every 3 weeks; I’m happy!

We have been to Vina before. WE went with a coupon from the entertainment book. This is a buy one, get one free coupon, no fine print. Period. The owner said that only applied to dinner. I told her the coupon did not specify that only an entrée. She said the coupon did not allow ordering from lunch«specials». I pointed out that we ordered form the regular lunch, not specials. She then said I had ripped off the part that said this. As I KNEW i was right on this, I went out to my car and got the coupon book showing there was no other section to the coupon and that she was wrong. Bottom line, she refused to use our entertainment coupon. Will never return.

I really would recommend skipping this place. I was so excited to get my favorite dish and it was poorly done. The noodles were overcooked, the fish sauce was poor in taste. The crispy spring rolls were like overcooked sponges ;( Overall very disappointed

I went here Monday 2÷3÷14 for a late lunch(around 3PM), and having looked at other reviews, I didn’t go in with super high expectations… glad I didn’t. If you don’t feel like reading the details of my review, let me cut straight to the chase. While my experience wasn’t entirely negative, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. First impression: Don’t come here for the atmosphere. Second impression: Though the entire building(strip mall exterior and restaurant interior) were very outdated and a little worse for wear, at least this establishment has very, very clean bathrooms. Highlights of my visit: My water cup was never empty, and was surprised by the over-sized fresh spring rolls. Also, I learned a thing or two watching Dr. Oz on the television while eating my meal. Lowlights of my visit: Never expected that warm shrimp in a spring roll that’s supposed to be entirely cold, and I was highly disappointed with the phở. In fact, I came here mainly because I craved a bowl of phở, and Vina happened to be on my way back home. This is really the worst bowl of phở, I’ve ever had. The beef tasted like it had been previously frozen, even a bit of freezer burn aftertaste. By the time I neared the bottom of the bowl, the broth began to taste like dirty dishwater. And while I truly don’t know what dirty dishwater tastes like, that’s the first thing that came to my mind. Needless to say, as soon as that thought did come to my mind, I abandon the idea of finishing my soup. Normally, I clean it to the bowl to the bare bottom… not so this time. Overall, this was also one of those times that I went to check out a restaurant prior to taking my wife there on a date. She loves phở as much as I do, so the good that came of this was her NOT having to experience what I did.

Vina has some great traditional style Vietnamese food. By far the best spring rolls in town.

Much better this time, though a bit pricey(soup at lunch $ 10) for what you get. Other ’ chinese’ style lunch specials for $ 6.

Service was GREAT! If you were thirsty before arrive at the restaurant, you won’t be after you left Vina. lol Pretty good fried rice. I’m impressed. :)

Vina, I had so much hope for you. Blaring fluorescent light is sometimes the sign of no frills greatness. Not in this case. The austere décor is symbolic of lackluster all-around performance. Another Phở disappointment. What little herbs were delivered were not on the side, but were instead thrown in the bowl. Green onion, I can appreciate, but raw white onion slices were overpowering. The beef was so so. I don’t think I will be going here again.

OK, from first glacé I was a skeptic… However, because I love to try new things and new places I was willing to try this place. When I walked up(it was about 1 p.m. on a Saturday) there was no one in site… Including inside!!! This scared me! However, once I sat down, I was given menus and water. The waitress wasn’t the most welcoming in the world BUT… once the food came out I was willing to overlook that!!! OMG… I am from California,(the Bay Area to be exact) so, if you’re looking for good Asian food there, I can tell you where to go. Now, I am so enthusiastic to be able to have a place to take out of town visitors to have a «taste of home»!!! They offer Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese Cuisine which seems like a lot but they seem to do it all very well and I will definitely be back!!!
