A review about Wal-​Mart? What’s to review? Everyone knows what they have and offer. While of this is true, here are some helpful tips that maybe just maybe you don’t know.
(1) early morning shopping is the best in terms of selection and lack of the traffic
(2) check out the end caps for clearance items marks down to 1,2,3 dollars
(3) The auto section specifically the guys who help with oil change and tire service are veterans and are extremely knowledgable and friendly
(4) Looking for a handgun? You will not find one here. This WM only has shotguns and rifles
(5) To the left one aisle removed from the seasonal section is one complete aisle with markdowns and clearance items
(6) The specialists that work in the Cell phone area up front are experts in cellular coverage, products, and accessories.
Lastly, the Wal-​Mart Site to Store option is a fantastic way to shop. There are options of free shipping, free pickup at a designated store and lastly free pickup today.

I liked this Walmart because it was clean, organized, always well stocked, good parking space, and safe. It is the best of four I’ve been to in Ada and Canyon counties.

Walmart lost my Christmas Cards! It took me an hour to pick out photos, upload them, arrange them, and edit them the way I wanted on the Walmart site… I was particularly excited as the cards had photos of my children and an ultrasound of our pregnancy! A wonderful surprise for family members! I purchased them and waited until the stated arrival date. I checked with the store and they said they did not have them and I was told they would call me when they came in. I waited another day and heard nothing. I decided to contact corporate. I was then told via email that they lost my cards and they would refund my money. I called in and asked if they would do something, anything to make up for it, possibly pay for a rush to get them to me in time if I reordered. I was told there was nothing they would do as it was a ‘personal matter’. I’m not even sure what that was suppose to mean. When I pressed the issue they put me on hold FOREVER and contacted the local Walmart. They told me the manager of the photo department would contact me soon to help me out. HOURS later the manager called me only to tell me she could do nothing except print me out a few photos at cost. WHAT?! In contrast my friend had Shutterfly loose her Christmas cards but they apologized to her and are now rush mailing her a replacements for free. Honestly, this is frustrating!

It’s walmart not sure what people expect. I expect cheap Prices and that is about the extent of it. They started having more and more self check outs which is always good and this one seems to be one of the cleaner ones even though it’s starting to show it’s age for sure.

Where’s the corporate structure. Apparently Walmart has the 3 stooges working at the tire and oil side. I’m use to pulling up to get my oil changed and having guys run out to get it done right away. Here there is a wait of about four people. One guy just standing out in the garage looking no where with a blank stare and the other two guys teaming up on the computer flirting with the girls in front of me. 45 minute wait for an oil change? I’ll pass

Walmart fairview boise. Jim in electronics must have had a very important phone call at the checkout counter as I eventually gave up waiting after 10 minutes for him to even acknowledge my existence. The other employee was too busy fiddling with the volume on the tv’s. Once done he disappeared into the back room. $ 200 bucks walked out the door. Amazon here I come for impersonal customer service from the internet.

I normally wouldn’t give Walmart a 4 Star because, well, it’s a Walmart. However, this one is clean, the people working there seem to be more helpful than a regular Walmart, and it’s spacious. This location is a lot cleaner and more put together than other Walmarts that I have been to. If I have to go to one, I go to this one.
Note: The photo center seems to be closed or is under renovation.

Found what we were looking for fairly easy. Food quality was fresh.

Best Walmart that I’ve been to. Good prices, easy location to get to. Very clean, large, orderly, and very friendly and helpful staff. Makes a convenient place to restock and stretch my legs on my road trips.

I like this store a lot. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The store is always clean which I love. The only problem I have is that every time I go in there are about 6 – 7 people in every line and 3 checkers working. It drives me crazy!

We don’t shop much at Walmart in Portland, but when we visit Jesse’s family in Boise, we come here for grocery and such. I must say, this is the most organized and clean Walmart I’ve ever been to. They have everything here from salon, cell phone kiosk, family portrait studio, and even place where you can cash your checks.
I found out they sell Horchata in cartons at the refrigerated juice department. I’ve never seen that before. That’s pretty awesome. Also, they have Churros cereal. We didn’t get any, but life will never be the same knowing I can eat churros in form of cereal for breakfast. Combine the churros cereal with Horchata, I wonder if my day will be fantastico and faboulouso?

Easy to find off Fairview. Ample parking. They have a Blimpie’s subs and sandwiches inside.
The kids clothes is affordable. They offer official BSU gear at very low prices.

This is my favorite Walmart in the area always clean and has friendly staff. The old thing I hate is when they are cleaning the floors its like the customer is in the way! They are so loud too. Got my tires there and do a lot of bulk items as well as the basics I like some of their pjs and panties but not the clothing, I did get a cute turquoise hoodie on clearance for $ 5 so you can’t beat that!
