The office staff is a complete mess. Nobody knows what their doing or who is doing what. They mailed stuff to wrong address. 3 different estimates for same treatments. Ask questions on phone without getting name of person, that was a big mistake. Got the olé proverbial run arround. End up canceling treatment to find another dentist

Very friendly and knowledgable group of people! My girlfriend set and appointment here and they have been absolutely amazing! Gave the time to answer al her questions and provide so many options. Even on her first appointment we had to leave early to take kiddo to the ER(unrelated incident) and they were completely okay with it, they didn’t even charge a cancelation fee. These people are amazing and I can’t wait to schedule an appointment of my own!

This is a part of a letter I actually wrote them. I could have gone into much more detail of the conversation we had, but I didn’t. It was a very unprofessional experience. I don’t understand why the person who deals with insurance don’t know what was happening with my bill. For over four years, we were happy with your service then whole thing seemed to have changed. The last service I and my son had was a mess. Well, the accounting was. You obviously failed to add the dentist we used to the list for our insurance therefore we were billed as out of network service.(By the way, the service was routine cleaning and exam so insurance covers 100%) I spent many hours about it, and the accounting person finally said she would resubmit the claims. When the insurance company adjusted, they asked you for a refund since there was a contractual discount. You billed us for that amount which, by contract with the insurance company, you are supposed to credit, and again I spent hours on the phone again. I was told it will be fixed, but the next bill still showed the balance. Once again I spent hours on the phone. Finally I was told the balance is my responsibility and no matter how I explained, it did not work. Finally I contacted my insurance administrator and she contacted your office. My insurance administrator said the lady in your office«did not realize,» even though I explained over and over. When the bill was fixed, our balance was«zero» which is not right because we had credit before this entire ordeal, so if everything was properly credited I should still have that credit. I guess she took the easy road and just made the balance zero. But I was so tired of entire thing, I said«forget it» and we notified your office our entire family will be moving to a different dentist and as I was asked why, I explained. I guess my husband had a standing appointment and he had a voice message left about the appointment. He never called back to confirm. Now we are charged for missed appointment. I let go of the credit, so I was going to fight to get back that credit, but I’m tired. I know I will have to explain whole thing again. So I just want you to know why my entire family no longer use your service and I intend on posting this on every review site. I’m sorry for the nice dental assistants, hygienists, and receptionists we encountered before.

I stopped attending this dentist office as the staff was rude. My husband continued to attend for a couple more years(until 2009) until the treatment plan he started had ended. He made payments to them as he went through the plan. We thought we had paid them what we owed them by the end of the treatement. Then all the sudden four years later, I start getting contacted by Bonneville collections demanding money that I owe Willow Tree Dental from 2009. I am completely floored. We have never received any correspondence from then asking for payment, so we had no idea. Now we are receiving rude and insulting letters from a collection agency, when Willow Tree could have made their own attempt and I would have paid. I do not find them to be proffessional(from my experiences in their offices) and do not recommend them to anyone one looking for a kind and caring dentist office. For as much as you pay for Denistry, you should be able to expect to be treated with dignity and respect.

An update to my last review.. .. the tooth that my husband had fixed has since turned black all around the gum line! He said it still gives him pain and it doesn’t feel right. Now I’m going to have to try and convince him to go to another dentist to have it looked at. He said he refuses to go back to Willow Tree, even if they should be the one’s to fix it and make it right.

Our family started coming here 5 years ago. We were afraid to leave our last dentist as they were the best. But Dr Mortenson is awesome. I had to have cavities filled in my wisdom teeth. What a great experience. Cody is our kids hygienist and is the best with them. I have been scarred of dentists since I was a kid. Never had an issue at Willow tree being scarred. Love the fact that they give you options on your dental work cost before they do the work. Highly recommend them as a dentist
