Merlin Bargain Center

This store is really well organized with a constantly changing array of estate items. I’ve bought some really great furniture here… china cabinet, side table, and lamps… as well as kitchenware. They are one of the few places that have used gardening equipment and lots and lots of tools. Prices are fair, not the cheapest ever, but for the quality, you get what you pay for. They do not have clothes. Shopping for furniture is fun because the owner puts a lot of it together in little vignettes so you can envision it all going together in your home. I stop in about once a month to see what is new and usually pick up something fun. Everything is clean. Do not expect to bargain much on the price. They seem to stick pretty much with the marked price on items… I’ve tried a few times and it doesn’t seem to go over well.

We like going in here and browsing around now and then. There are many tools, plumbing items and such at reasonable prices. Furniture can be on the spendy side sometimes. There is a lot of glassware and kitchen items. I think the owner buys estates so there is a variety of things at the store.
