We had our wedding coming up and my wife (to-​be) had the good fortune to find Rob Tannenbaum.
We initially spoke with him over the phone to discuss the basic outline of the wedding and then arranged to meet with him so we could get the details done.
We were very impressed with him when we met him — he is very laid back and extremely easy to work with.
On the day of our wedding, Rob was there super early and doing photographer things; he beat me to the event and I was very early.
We spent the entire wedding with Rob working away in the background: we did both the ceremony and the reception in the same venue so it was a long day. Rob never tired, and I never saw the guy take a break.
He got the proofs back to us in record time and his work was just great. We could not have been happier with the job he did.
Highly recommended for whatever your event is. Give him a call; you will be happy you did.
Summing up: Excellent prices, excellent work and a great person all around. Seriously — what are you waiting for?

We had Rob photograph our wedding a few weeks ago and couldn’t be happier with the results. His strength is definitely in capturing moments as they happen, which is exactly what we wanted. We’ve been looking through the shots and laughing over my now mother-​in-​law dancing, my cousins and I having a very animated discussion, our first dance, all kinds of moments we had forgotten all about until we got the pictures.
The portraits are good too (I specifically told him that we didn’t want to spend a ton of time on photos during our wedding day, so they might have been awesome if we’d given him a little more time. As it is, I have to give him credit for respecting our wishes and getting the portraits done with quickly). If you’re looking for someone who’s an expert at posing couples for that perfect «staring lovingly into each other’s eyes» shot, I’m not sure, but if you want to look at your photos and remember all the once-​in-​a-​lifetime moments, then I whole-​heartedly recommend him.
