This is a review for their custom engagement rings. For jewelry and especially engagement rings, it’s so important to work with people that you feel comfortable with and that you can trust. My fiancé came here and worked with Scott to create my engagement ring. It’s absolutely perfect! From start to finish, he said he felt completely at ease and confident that Scott would be able to produce exactly what he wanted. To start, he showed Scott a ring that I had sent him a picture of a while back. He knew that I wanted an emerald cut diamond and Scott found an amazing stone. These diamonds are sometimes hard to find, and he came up with several options for my fiancé. All of the diamonds he showed him were GIA certified, so you know what you’re getting! Unfortunately, I didn’t know that the setting style I «chose» could not be worn with a wedding band. My fiancé was a little disappointed at first, but quickly Scott went to work, showing him several different options of rings. Ultimately he ended up picking one that was close to what he was looking for and customizing it to get the vintage look that he knew I liked. After choosing the setting, Scott sent a digital representation of what the ring was going to look like before going into final production. That way, any final tweaks could be made. The ring came out absolutely PERFECT and I couldn’t be more happy! My fiancé said that the prices were much better than the other stores he had shopped around in. He was also able to get a higher quality of diamond because they have access to a larger selection. The other places weren’t even going to make a completely custom ring for him! The ring is so well made and I get compliments on it everywhere I go! We are definitely going to come back to get our wedding bands here. They have several locations, so depending on where it was most convenient for my boyfriend to meet him(he travels a lot during the day for his business), Scott was willing to go to any of their stores across Queens/LI. I am attaching pictures of the original setting that was chosen, the digital sketch of the ring and the final product :)

I was extremely disappointed and shocked at the dishonesty of this company. I brought in a ring and was told a specific price yesterday. I said I would think it over and get back to Manny the next day. I called him and set up an appointment. When he arrived he told me a different amount from the day before. I finally agreed to the price and he proceeded to remove the stone. After doing so, destroying the ring and setting, he told me that the stone was damaged and he could only offer me over $ 1000. dollars less. I argued that this was absolutely a disgraceful way to do business. We had agreed on a price and he completely reneged after destroying my ring. He called his boss, Scott, and explained that the stone was damaged. I spoke with Scott and he said this often happens. Well, why do you tell a client one price and not explain that on further examination the price may change. I was hoodwinked by these shysters. Don’t do business with them. I am going to place reviews all over NY, LI, and the Greater Metropolitan area This was a ring that had much sentimental value but unfortunately, I needed some financial help. They did offer to repair the ring and put the stone back in but couldn’t do it in front of me, it would have to be taken to the city. Yes, so they could switch my diamond probably!

I had a bad experience with the Commack location. I recently inherited a coin collection from my dad and I was offered half of what others were paying. And then when I spoke up I was told«oh… the woman I emailed at our main office must of missed a few things». Then the owner got involved and I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. He was going back and forth over the phone with his local rep. Saying he wasn’t really making any money on the other coins and wanted to know if I inherited this set — which is his way of asking«do you have any knowledge because if not, I can make more money off of you». In the end he wanted one of the coins really bad so met the other price quotes I got and then came up another $ 175. I took the rest of my coins to a coin dealer on Jericho Turnpike in Huntington that specializes in coins and pays close to spot. For anyone that wants to sell coins I would first recommend going to a traditional jewelry store and then any special coins should go to a true expert.
