Horrible service. Was waiting 20 mins, I felt like I was a ghost. I work in construction I wanted my lunch fast, so I had to walk out. I guess that’s the kind of service you get when they hire only kids. Kids don’t give a shit. One was doing her job I guess she was making orders from the online people. And some kid was washing the blenders I guess that’s more important than taking my order… That kid was slow as hell. And the 3rd girl was making smoothies but again she could have put the blender on and walked and grabbed my order. Or the kid washing the dishes could have grabbed my order. Or they should hire people that care… They didn’t even acknowledge me…

Today visit was disappointing, I ordered a sandwich. When I got home, noticed right away that the lettuce was brown, it was gross and disappointing. Also I had ordered a kids meal, asked for the awesome orange smoothie but instead they gave me some chocolate banana smoothie.

Tropical Smoothie is pretty convenient for a quick refreshment. However there should be a base for the smoothies besides water and ice. I’ve tried 3 smoothies so far and they taste rather bland (perhaps using a 100% juice base would make smoothies sweeter). The food however is A1! There are many choices of club sandwiches to choose from. I love them all.

Their smoothies are excellent. Sarah who works there is fabulous. She always gets my order right. The only reason that I didn’t give he rating 5 stars is because the menu could be a little more varied.

I have been to several Tropical Smoothie locations before and I have always had a great experience… that is why I was completely surprised that in the Merrick location, it was not the same. The staff is completely RUDE! The first time I went, my order was wrong. When I brought it to their attention, the girl rolled her eyes. I am understanding to the fact that mistakes can happen, so I gave them a second try. Upon walking in, I was not greeted, I had to ask if I could place an order and again, the attitude from the staff was horrendous! Will NEVER go back to the Merrick location again!

I always enjoy a trip to Tropical Smoothie, and I was excited to see a new location I wasn’t aware of. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad with no tomatoes and a Mocha Madness smoothie. The salad was great! The lettuce was crisp and the chicken was warm! The cheese was nice and moist and the Caesar dressing was very flavorful. The smoothie was very good as well! On an unrelated note, the girl who made and brought out my order was super cute.
