Bruce Mound Ski Hill Resort

Awesome place. We are from the Chicago suburbs and I hate the busy and long lines at the ski hills at the IL/​WI border. This place was not busy on a holiday weekend and the people were super nice and talk about price! You can’t beat it. Well worth to me the two extra hours to drive. My 10 year old had a blast the second time skiing (the first time at grand Geneva it took over an hour to get the rental with lines wrapped around … I usually walk out when I see that). She took a ski lesson and the instructors couldn’t be nicer and she was skiing great in no time. My son is not such a skier yet at 9 but we had a blast on the tube runs. Again no wait and just had to figure out the tow rope which we did after watching a few veterans. We stayed at comfort inn in Black River Falls. Great pool and hot breakfast included. Was perfect for us (and had other families with us). Can’t wait to come back (and I’m not even a cold weather person).
