For a Subway knock off this place isn’t very efficient. They have you order and pay first, then go and get what you want. There seems to be an awful lot of yelling and a lot of confusion. The staff seems nice but for the cost of food & the fact that what they have posted isn’t what you get does not make for good experience.

I was really looking forward to a healthy food court alternative when I heard this place was opening up. I’m a frequent customer of Jamba Juice outside the mall, and I was expecting something along those lines. I was very disappointed. While they do use a small selection of fresh fruits, don’t be deceived. They ruin the healthy part of their smoothies when they add some goopy sugar mixture to it. I’m not sure what it is, but I recognized the flavor– it’s the same stuff that Sonic puts into its milk shakes. While this did give me a nice reminder of home(Texas), where Sonic Drive-Ins were around every corner, I am trying to go for a more natural diet these days. I suppose you could catch them before they added the sugar mixture to your smoothie, but it’s more the false advertisement of ‘healthy’ that bothers me. I dislike deceptive marketing techniques. As far as their salad selection goes… Maybe they were just having a bad day. I used to work at a high end grocery store where we tossed custom salads for customers by the order, so I know what the ingredients are supposed to look like, and my standards are high. Their selection is weak to begin with, and the lettuce was a little on the sad side. My boyfriend, who is a produce manager, made a comment on the less-than-fresh appearance of some of the selection, too. Their customer service was bland and the guy working the counter was little more than a robotic zombie. I mean, yeah, I remember having my off days and such… but dang, I seriously just didn’t even want to talk to him. I felt like an inconvenience to his lackluster existence. My boyfriend tried their tuna sandwich. He remarked that it wasn’t anything too special– Subway still wins. I had a salad despite the appearance of the ingredients. I didn’t finish it. I MIGHT try it again if I am in the mall and starving, and not able to wait until we leave. When I do, I’ll ask what the sugar junk is and if I can nix it.
