Billy’s Famous Pizza

This is our go to pizza place! They offer a variety of different pizza and dinner options. The pizza is a Greek style, crust wasn’t too thick and sauce was savory not sweet. Toppings were very generous. We’ve also gotten the chicken tenders, which were fantastic and mozzarella sticks were cheesy! Highly recommend this place.

Best pizza in Merrimack. If you have not had Billy’s and you are from around here you have to try it. Service is friendly and the food is all good! Highly recommend, 5 star.

Best cheese pizza around! I’m a cheese pizza fanatic. Of all the options– cheese is my favorite. And Billy’s makes it better than anyone else. Their sauce is delicious, and they bake the pizza perfectly every time. I have had other pizzas there as well, and have not been disappointed. Great staff as well! Super friendly and accommodating.

I came because I was doing laundry next door. Now I have been before and it never made a lasting impressions. I got a bbq chicken calazone that was good. My wife got spankopeta and my kids got pizza. Pizza was fine and my wife said spankopeta was also good. We had fries that you can get anywhere. I like handcut which these were not. I live in merrimack and this place is safe. Good service too.

Like most pizza places, they have a lot more to offer than just pizza. My girlfriend and I love coming here and getting a large pepperoni, although i’d also recommend the steak and cheese sub. There pizza is definately a step up from the corporates like dominoes or pizza hut, but i’ve also had better. It’s a great place to grab some subs for lunch, or to bring pizza home to the family. it is a merrimack classic, and has been around as long as i can remember. 15+ years, they must be doing something right!

I know pizza is a very opinionated subject. Everyone likes different styles, some like thick crust, some like thin, lots of cheese, light cheese, etc.
But I gotta say, in my opinion, this pizza is not good. The crust is a slightly thicker crunchy version, almost Greek style but not quite. The pizza’s are smaller than the 18″ size at some of the other places in the area like Pizza Man or Bob’s. The cheese is not very good, nor is the sauce.
Put it this way, my daughter (10 years old) and her cousin (13 years old) gave the place 1 star… and these are two girls that LOVE pizza. They didn’t even finish it, we ended up bringing it home and it got throw away.
Now, that being said, if you like this style of pizza… well, then, you will like this style of pizza. But, to me, it’s bland, too thick of a crust, the cheese isn’t high quality and the sauce was below average.
Mr. G’s, Pizza Man or even Domino’s is much better. For reference, my favorite pizza place in the area is Bob’s in Nashua.

This is the best pizza I’ve had in Merrimack. Located in the Skyline Mall, I went to Billy’s Famous Pizza on a Saturday evening to order a pizza. The atmosphere inside is very casual and bright, an order at the counter take out place with a small open kitchen behind the counter and table seating and a TV nearby. The menu offers pizza, calzones, pasta, dinner plates, appetizers, salads, sandwiches, bagged chips, baklava, rice pudding, and cold drinks (Coke products, juices, energy drinks) from two coolers. Pizza slices are availabe for $ 1.85 cheese/​$ 2.05 one topping. The owners and staff work behind the counter making pizzas and food.
Several people with families were here dining in and food was brought out to their tables, no silverware or dishes, paper plates, plastic utensils, and foil containers for the pasta dishes. The Mediterranean pizza and the cheese calzone looked pretty good. However, I decided on the California Pizza ($ 10 with tax) which was put together and placed in the oven as I was handing over the cash. The pizza was hot and ready in 15 minutes. Yeahhh, this California Pizza was loaded with fresh toppings including tomatoes, broccoli, chicken, onions, and garlic, very tasty with a good homestyle crust. I would definitely order the California Pizza again from Billy’s.
