I’m new to NH, coming from GA where everything is available everywhere. When I arrived in NH, I found things were scarce & limited. I had to travel to places to get things I normally could find anywhere, such as: Boar’s Head Brand Meats. There are very few stores that have them and the selection is horrible. I did some extensive online searching and found«Choice Cuts Butcher Shop» It was small and quaint, what took me for a loop was the«Service» and the fact the owner would work with you. I informed of the Boar’s Head choices I normally get Prosciutto, Black forest Ham, Genoa Salami, Havarti Cheese, Gouda Cheese etc. Not only did she get them in at my request, but she also found others liked it as well. I also tried their home made sausages: Teriyaki, Garlic & Sweet… OMG!!! I finally served them up this past Memorial Day BBQ and«WELOVEDIT» I went back for more, this is my store of choice in New Hampshire. They are kind, courteous and will get in what you want … The location is great as well. Thank you so much and you have a customer for life(as long as I am in NH, Lol) Jasmene

Great selection of meats… Got some dog bones today, and they were freshly smoked. The dog is in heaven.

Butcher shops are nowadays one of these things we hear our grandfathers took for granted and they enjoyed freshly cut or ground meats, customized to their taste, whenever they wanted. Nowadays we have convenient shopping in the supermarket but along with the convenience comes the assembly line meat processing and one loses the notion of the personal touch. So entering this awesome place is a dream. The ample parking lot is for starters. The customer enters a spotless venue with a friendly and personal greeting from the storekeeper. Sauces, condiments and both refrigerated and non refrigerated ingredients. Then there’s the deli part with sandwiches and accouterments. And then there is the marinated selections, from Korean to Southern barbecues. And then in the back of the store, the refrigerated section with fresh grass-fed meats. And not to be outdone, they have not forgot our furry companions. Dog bones galore. Outstanding place.

Oh yeah. - This is a good place. I went here to get a sandwich the other day and I was very impressed by the place. It’s a nice little butcher shop which also sells sandwiches. They have a small menu of sandwiches they make — it’s not a sandwich shop and I get the feeling they don’t want to be that(it takes a lot of time to make a sandwich as opposed to wrapping up some steaks for you). But a sub and a drink and chips will run you less than 10 bucks, which in this day and age, is unbelievable. - They sell a great selection of chicken, steak, pasta salads, meats and cheeses. Some really good stuff here. I counted 3 or 4 different kinds of marinated chicken wings. They had excellent steaks along with separate grass-fed only beef, which looked incredible. Why we eat meat from cows who eat corn is beyond me. Ever see a cow peel an ear of corn and eat it? No. And you wonder why farmers have to amp up the cows full of anti-biotics just to get them to survive long enough to make it to your table. Grass fed, baby. That’s my jam, as the kids say these days. - My sub was awesome but I will say this; it was wrapped up in an open style. Like, the sub wasn’t a sub so much as it was the roll opened up with stuff on it. I couldn’t close it and couldn’t eat it that way. I had to attack it with a fork and knife. So don’t think you’ll be able to get a sub here and eat it in your car without making a huge mess. A small inconvenience and really, the chicken salad was so good I am definitely going back for more. But just FYI.

This shop is owned by a married couple who are always nice to talk to while your there. The meat is good, and has dropped in price since they have opened, the tips are huge, I would prefer them smaller, a steak tip is closer to a steak. The subs are amazing. When I’m looking for a cold cut sub, this is the place to go. Boars head meats, and like the other review said, they cram the sub full of everything. It is the best value sub I’ve had before. They also have a reduced price cooler with frozen meats that you can get great deals on.

I’ve been going to this deli since they opened, and let me just say, the woman running this place is an absolute peach. Nicest deli around no questions. But the main reason I give this place a 5 star rating is their subs. They’re to die for. They load it up so full, you literally can’t close them. They use Boars Head products, so again, no disappointments there. As an actual butcher’s shop… I have no idea. I’ve never bought cold cuts/meat from there. Ha. But aside from that, if you need a quality sammich fast, this place does not let you down.
