Mirabella Salon & Day Spa

Amy is the best hair stylist I have ever seen. She cuts my hair perfectly and I always leave the salon happy. I always feel welcome arriving to the salon. Mirabella is clean, professional, yet comfortable. Amy is an amazing stylist. I have recently started seeing Pam for my eyebrows. She is great! She takes her time and never over waxes my brows. I tend to break out after I get my eyebrows done and Pam uses her magic «wand» and applies tea tree oil and I no longer break out after getting them done! I refer all my friends and family here!

Stacey Shuttinger at Mirabella Salon has been taking care of my hair for years. She is excellent. Her skills are just one of the things for which I offered the highest rating possible. One expects that stylists will have some significant skills. But, it is her patience as well that has been for important for me. Stacey listens to her clients and allows time to discuss the client’s expectations. Another very important point is that Stacy is always ready to take her clients at the arranged appointment time. Clients appreciate that very much. I would recommend Stacey to others looking for an excellent hair stylist. I offer my highest recommendation.

I have been going to Mirabella for about 5 years now. Everyone is so friendly! I saw Amy the past few times I went. I obmred my hair myself and it turned out awful, so I made an appointment with her to have it fixed. She did an AMAZING job! I can’t even tell you how many compliments I get ALL the time :) I also am extremely nervous when it comes to haircuts because I never want too much taken off (I’m trying to grow it long). But when Amy cut my hair, I didn’t even notice a huge difference but it looked SO much healthier, it was perfect! And my hair has been growing so much since I’ve been seeing her! Definitely check out Mirabella :)

I’ve been coming to Mirabella for four or five years now and have been seeing Meg for the majority of the time. She’s really great with color, her cuts are consistently good and she’s just a pleasure to go to. The salon is clean, professional and very inviting and each staff member I’ve encountered has been positive and service-​oriented. They carry top-​of-​the-​line products including Eufora and I always look forward to a visit. I haven’t tried the spa yet, but I look forward to a little pampering down the road!

Mirabella is my favorite salon: the location is great and easily accessible, the salon is very nice and modern with a relaxed vibe, the staff there are professional, friendly and very accommodating, and the products they use are top notch. But what makes Mirabella so outstanding to me are the incredibly gifted stylists there. Whenever I’m there I see people who clearly leave looking their best and I’m no exception. Rene Roy has been doing my hair for over 5 years and I’m probably one of her higher maintenance clients… I have a lot of hair and like to change my look so I’ve been back and forth between very light blonde to dark brunette and everything in between. It’s never a problem for her, she is fantastic with color and cuts, and her blowouts are AMAZING. Every girl knows that your day is infinitely better when you’re having a good hair day… and I owe all of my great hair days to Rene!

I wanted to try this place out for a massage and I was disappointed. While the place inside looked clean and pretty nice the «spa» area upstairs was tiny. All of the massages I have gotten before you disrobe and store your belongings into a locker and then sit down and wait for the masseuse with a warm neck wrap. Here I went upstairs and sat in a chair and filled out paper work and waited. The masseuse came out didn’t introduce herself and only asked if there were areas of focus. I told her. Then she led me into the room and told me to disrobe and get onto the table. I thought it was odd, that there was no sort of ease into the massage.
I had a deep tissue massage and I have to say it was the weirdest massage I ever had. I don’t even really know how to describe it. She did tell me in the beginning to let her know about the pressure, but never asked me during the massage at any time. The massage was uncomfortable for me and painful, I don’t know why I didn’t say anything. I just wanted the kinks, having deep tissue before, I never had one so painful. That was my mistake in not speaking up. My problem areas weren’t really focused on either. It was just a lot of digging/​kneading in one spot then rubbing. The music also stopped in the middle of my massage so I sat in there with no relaxation for a half hour. At least the fan was on so I could listen to that. But it was just the weirdest massage.
After the massage, I got dressed but wanted to wash my hands and there was a sink in the room, so I used that but no towels or anything to wipe my hands so I used my pants. But they don’t tell you where the bathroom is or anything. You get dressed and you leave. It was a really weird set up for a massage. I would not return here and this was the only service I tried.

I have gone here for years and Stacy has done my hair every time. She is amazing with color and has helped me through several «should I cut it?» panics with wonderful guidance and humor.
Mirabella is a very comfortable place to go for a two hour cut/​color. I always feel relaxed, even when they have all the chairs full on a busy Saturday morning. The design is pleasant and spacious. The upstairs loft spa is lovely, and i’ve always had wonderful estheticians do my brows, although there does seem to be a bit of turnover with that particular position. I’ve also had pedi and manicures here and been quite happy, although those are few and far between. :)
I have several friends who go here as well and they are loyal customers, as well, so I know that my experience is not unique. Give them a try!

Looks like I’m keeping in line with all the other Unilocal reviews… and it’s well deserved! My husband gave me a surprise «Time to Unwind» day at the spa gift certificate for Mirabella. I have never heard of it, and was a little skeptical. After all. what could a good olé country boy know about day spas??? Apparently. he did REAL GOOD =). I was wondering what it was going to be like because my initial view was a bunch of construction in the back of the salon (the owner of the building is responsible for that. not the salon owner).wasn’t really sure where to park. Note to anyone going. you have to park in the back of the building. not to the side like I did. My understanding is your car will get towed. Thankfully, it was first thing in the morning, and it was a weekend… so I didn’t have to «face the music» with that one. However, it will be good to know when I go back! (Because I’m definitely going back ;)) I came in to a very pleasant greeting & was brought upstairs where they do all the spa part of the package. I was offered tea, coffee, water. something to drink. I wish I had a bit longer to enjoy my coffee (I was taken quickly to have my massage so I didn’t get any coffee before I went in) and sit by the fireplace and relax. I started with a «Relaxation Massage» and it was FABULOUS! The massage therapist was amazing and she left me to go to my happy place. utter quiet and bliss. Not that I mind talking. but when I’m having a massage, I’m there to relax and unwind. not talk. It was just what I needed! I put on a robe after my hour massage was done and up came my coffee… I had about 3 minutes to enjoy it before a sweet woman came and got me for, my Aveeda Facial (again, I wish I had a few more minutes to just sit and enjoy coffee for a bit). Pamela did my facial and oh my. what a beautiful job she did!!! I would highly recommend her when you book your appointments there (I honestly cannot say one bad thing about anyone who took care of me that day. they were all professional, very sweet, and did an amazing job!). She explained exactly what she was doing with my skin, and it was just glowing when I was done! I came out to wine, cheese, crackers, and grapes… and again, I wish I had a little time to enjoy it, but was taken right away to do my pedicure. Pamela also did that! They give you a list of scrubs to choose from and they are all heavenly! Best pedicure ever. I then moved over to the manicure station, with a new woman (I can’t remember her name. sorry!) and they used a scrub on my hands and had a mini massage… it was wonderfully relaxing… I don’t normally wear nail polish, but she picked a great neutral color and I love it! Even after I smudged them terribly (completely my fault), I showed her and she was sweet to redo the ones I had messed up. It definitely is a very serene place. My understanding is during construction hours, it can get loud, so my suggestion would be go either on a weekend or later in the evening when they are finishing up work for the day. All in all. not ONE thing I can complain about. only wish I had more time to enjoy the coffee and small snack they give you before getting the services done. Thank you for the most relaxing day I’ve had in a LONG time!

Getting your hair cut by someone new, especially when you have short hair, is really terrifying. Stacey was amazing. She listened and made suggestions and talked me through her process. My hair looked perfect at the end.
The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Took my jacket and brought me water. The aesthetic was clean and professional. I would absolutely come here again.

I’ve been going here off and on for many years and simply love this place. Each time I come I wish I could spend the day.
I usually get a pedi and sit back sip and relax. They recently made changes and moved the spa rooms to the second floor. I really miss the old room but was still very happy with the service and atmosphere. This is not and in and out nail salon but a kick back, close your eyes and be pampered place.
My girlfriend gets a full body massage and always loves it. We feel like jello when we leave and yet again wish we could stay all day.

Meg has been my hairdresser since… middle school. And there’s a reason for that. I very rarely let anyone else touch my hair. On a couple of the occasions where I had to go to other hairdressers for a haircut or color, I’ve never been disappointed at Mirabella.
Usually I’m here strictly for hair, but I’ve also gotten facials, nail polish, makeup, and eyebrows done here. When I had my 8^th grade semi-​formal (five-​ish years ago), I had everything done here — hair, makeup, nail polish. When I had my senior prom four years later, I had to go to a place closer to the high school, and I didn’t look half as good as I did in 8^th grade (and believe me, the 8^th grade version of me was rather tragic).
In addition, the whole place is really nice and clean. They always take your coat when you come in in the winter time, and you will always be offered something to drink. Definitely a great place.
