This store is an incredible buy for fruits and vegetables. Great selection of kitchen items also. Just like any bargain store you have to go through each aisle looking for the good stuff. I routinely can find name brand albacore tuna, condiments, and breads. In a pinch I would buy the off brand household cleaning or beauty items, but certainly not normally, as they are diluted down in my opinion. I can easily fill an entire shopping cart with the«good stuff» for about $ 50-$ 70. I must say they also keep the inside if the store immaculate. It is always clean and crisp.

Today was my first time in a 99 cent store. Wow. It has everything. I would never purchase food/beverages/pet products here, but for inexpensive gift bags, cards, toys, office supplies, then this place works. Customer service is lacking. But, you get what you pay for, right?! I was standing in line behind a couple checking out and after standing in line for a few minutes, the cashier slams(literally) a sign down that says«Closed» then shouted, «Ma’m I’m closed.» As I was exiting the store, that same cashier was sitting on the curb smoking a cigarette. I think all businesses should mandate smoking areas to inconspicuous spaces. No one wants to see that or walk through billowing cigarette smoke just to get in/out of a building.
