Beehive Ceilings

I recently used Beehive Ceilings and they did an absolutely wonderful job! The job went on for several days. They were on time, cleaned up each day – completely did what I was told they would do and in the timeframe promised. I would recommend them to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again should I ever purchase a house with popcorn ceilings again

Say goodbye to cottage cheese! Beehive ceilings removes those gross cottage cheese ceilings, in case you were wondering what they actually do. I have used these guys twice in the past year. I have owned 2 condos that were both built in the early 80’s here in the Phoenix metro area. I guess in the 80’s the condo developers is Phoenix said let’s save $ 100 and spray this ugly, disgusting crap on ceilings that collects dust. Of course you can’t clean it either, because if you try to, it crumbles all over the place.
I have allergies, and they were really bad in my last condo, so after getting rid of most of the carpet, I decided to exorcise the the cottage cheese demon from my ceilings.
Beehive Ceilings are really professional. First they send out a guy who does this estimate for the job. In this case, business was slow and they actually discount the job further if you are flexible about scheduling. Since my job basically filled in an empty spot they had in their schedule I got a little bit better price.
I had a large living room area and 2 bedrooms to do. They showed up on time 7:15 AM and got right down to business. I got out of there, and they called me at 1:00 PM that same day to let me know that they were just finishing up! The ceilings were scraped, sanded, & re-​textured beautifully! I did not have them paint, because I thought they were a little high for the actual painting but they did a beautiful job on the ceilings.
Then I sold my beautifully re-​done condo this Spring, and bought my current fixer upper.
Again I did the estimate (fair price) and scheduled the job. This time the crew showed up over an hour late, and were super rude to me when they got there. They made rude comments about their company’s estimator and the crew that did my job at my previous condo. Well since I had such a good experience with Beehive the first time, I called the office while these guys were setting up and told them about the unprofessional behavior. The lady totally apologized and she seemed genuinely shocked. I told her I was not comfortable leaving them in my house. I told her I was sending them home, and she said no problem and that she would get another crew out the next morning.
The next morning a very professional crew came out, got down to business, and did a fantastic job again. The manager also called to hear my story, and apologized as well.
So the nut jobs who I booted lose them one star, but over all I’ve had great results with this company. So I can definitely say if you want to quickly and cleanly get rid of your nasty ceilings they do a great job.
