This daycare, and this particular location, is awesome. We had a few bad experiences prior to coming here 3 years ago. After the in-home care we had folded, we selected another well– known place– and in just a few weeks we saw dirty, dirty toys, failure to handle playground bullying(I happened to witness as I was walking up… I made over to my crying son before she did and I was coming from the parking lot… then she did not ask any questions, just stood there, so the other kids told ME what had happened to my son, and then she said nothing to the culprits;) and my son had ‘indian burns’ on both wrists, and no one knew what had happened to him. So, I made the rounds looking for somewhere I could trust to really take care of my 3 year old– and found this gem of a place. The kids are well behaved and sweet natured for the most part, a credit to the families that come there and the teachers as well. Hardly ever an incident, but if there is, they don’t miss it and they handle it appropriately– I have seen it in action. I was won over with how we were treated on our visit to check them out– one child realized it was my son’s birthday the day we came in, so she whispered to her teacher, got approval and then went and whispered to each child– then suddenly they broke out singing happy birthday to my son. Since enrollment, I have had 3 years of experience with them and I have nothing but good to say about every single staff member, from the director, Pam, to Tina(admin mainly) to each classroom teacher(Miss Renee, Miss Diane, Miss Alyssa, all of them!) to the lunch people. A very warm and welcoming group, very sweet to the kids, and so very accommodating to the parents. And always seemed quick to notice if my son were ill(unlike the experience we are now having at kindergarten.) Love this place!
