Cvs Pharmacy

I’ve been going here for five years now. The pharmacists Gail and Stephenie are the best along with their head Rx Tech April. It reminds me of the old days where everyone knows your name. It has the feeling of a Mom and Pop Pharmacy.

I’ve always had good service at the pharmacy and the staff has always been so nice overall; my concern is that the outdated décor and lack of clean floors near pharmacy is going to drag down the much needed improvements in the newly appointed Fiest a District. The nearby businesses seem to be joining in by updating their facades or cleaning up surrounding landscapes. Every time I go to this store I feel like i’m in a time warp. I hope they join this modern time and spruce up the place!

Twenty minute line to drop off the prescription and was told that it would be at least another hour before they could fill it.
Returned 90 minutes later to be told that even if they had filled the prescription, they couldn’t give it to me because their computers were down and that it would take a couple of hours at minimum to fix them. When I told them that this was my 2^nd trip for this prescription and that we needed it now, I just got a shrug and was told that it would be better to come back the next day.
This is not the first time that I have had to make multiple trips to pick up prescriptions here. I had called in a renewal for a renewal of one my husband’s prescriptions that needed to be kept refrigerated and when I came it to pick it up they told me they had thrown it away because they lost power and the refrigerator was without power for about 6 hours so none of the meds in there were safe to take. I was then told it would probably be 2 more days before they got more of his medicine in.
I have also had problems at this store with lengthy check-​out lines at the general merchandise counter. Additionally, if you buy something bulky, like cases of water, you cannot take the shopping cart out of the store to your car (they have them fixed so that you cannot leave the building with them). They also use the loathsome loyalty cards (which significantly slows the check-​out process).

I come to this pharmacy often, not by choice. The prescription for my son can only be filled here if I want my insurance to pay for it. So every other week I’m forced to reserve time I don’t really have available to go stand in a long line to deal with stupid employees that can never seem to get anything right and to top it off they all have attitudes.
Their prices are high and the employees are rude. The only good thing about this place is the cleanliness… its always clean and organized.

Eh, it’s in Mesa. Overall pretty clean, helpful employees. I can’t speak for the pharmacy though.

I’ve been here coupla times in the past week or so. It’s a nice clean store, nothing special, pretty helpful clerks, good selection, average prices. There is a nice big parking lot so you can always park close.
