Desert Trails Park

My son had been begging to go to this park. It was awesome with something for little kids as well as older.

By far the best municipal urban mountain bike park in the land. My 9-​year-​old son and I missed the grand opening yesterday of the mountain bike park at city of Mesa Desert Trails Park, so I took him this morning. I asked him how he liked it on a scale 1 – 10 and he said «10 Dad». We went home for a while and then I got the urge to try it out. We went back and I quickly realized the beginner trail was advanced, and the intermediate trail was challenging. I didn’t attempt the advanced trail because the guys launching from it looked like they were straight out of the X Games. Bring a GoPro and a 1^st Aid kit and you too will have a blast. The best part… wait for it… it’s free!
