Very helpful. They got my Bug running strong. It’s a daily driver with dual carbs and they tuned it properly for daily use in the winter months. I’ve been going to them for years. And when i was first getting into this VW bug thing they worked with me every step of the way.
I’ve moved across town, and gladly drive by several bug shops on my way to Dougs. I’ll never take it anywhere else.

I’ve had a couple of VWs through Doug’s and they always treated us right. Often even correcting someone else’s mistakes.
Well past that, at one point I had some health issues and lost my own business. Fish and the crew sponsored an event to raise some money and help me out. I wasn’t the first, or the last they have helped.
They are self made, honest, and knowledgable. More importantly they are just good people.

Doug’s always does a great job tuning and repairing my VW. I have dual carbs on a racing engine and those are tricky but every time I get it done by them it sounds perfect. The one time I didn’t take it to Doug’s I regretted it. Even if it is a bit of a drive for you, trust me, it is worth. I never leave feeling over charged or taken advantage like I have at other shops.
Fish is great to talk to and Mike is always super direct on what they did. Just a great group of guys who are very knowledgable. I never question whether they know what they are doing.
