Contacted Austen after our sofa was damaged by our dogs. We’re in Scottsdale but were able to schedule him within 48hrs which was fantastic.
Called on Monday, came on Wednesday and after a couple hours of work left our sofa looking like new.

My husband and I were moving two pillow back side chairs in our living room over the weekend and he inadvertently grabbed the pillow back and the stitching tore loose. I called the furniture store we bought them from and they recommended Austen from Elite Upholstery. I called him first thing Monday morning, left a message and he called back later that day. When I explained what happened, Austen said he could come to our home in the afternoon and make the onsight repairs. I have to say that if you need any upholstery repairs that you give Austen at Elite Upholstery a call. Austen provides great service and is a very friendly individual.

Very disappointed. He is a great guy, but I paid $ 1200.00 for him to put FOAM in my sectional couch. For $ 1200.00 I would have thought I was paying for high quality materials and service. That was not the case. How much can foam cost? I was paying for his craftsmanship. However, after receiving the finished product and paying in full I had to call him back shortly thereafter because his workmanship was lacking. Three of the six sections were already sagging. He stuffed it with foam. That’s it. He didn’t reinforce anything, he didn’t even replace a couple of simple screws that were missing from the frame. He noticed they were missing and all he did when I pointed them out was say, «oh yeah, I noticed that». If you are a craftsman, how do you not have enough pride in your work to replace a couple of screws for a $ 1,200.00 job? Forget about the screws, when he came back to look at the failed repair all he had to say was that he would have to charge me more money to fix his poor work. Unfortunately I paid him cash so I really had no recourse. I have $ 1,200 dollars worth of foam inside of a couch I originally paid $ 3,000.00 for and now I can’t even sell it for $ 500.00. Be careful not to pay him in cash, he doesn’t stand behind his work.

Talk about service. Called today and my leather couch is repaired. The repair was done professionally and it did not cost an arm and a leg like the other company I called. So glad that I searched and found this company. Total satisfaction!

Austen, owner of Elite Upholstery, totally reversed a disastrous outcome I had with another repair company. My leather sofa cushions had been inexpertly filled with hard foam that didn’t even fill the casings, and a tear in the fabric side of one was sloppily stitched and coming apart. Austen took great care to order the correct foam and then returned the cushions to their original overstuffed, plush condition. In addition, he expertly repaired the tear. I’m 100% satisfied and SO glad I found this company.
