I was in your store tonight and went to the line#7, where the light was on. I started to put my items in the conveyer belt. The cashier didn’t even acknowledge my presence. She looked over at the cashier on line 8 and rolled her eyes and said can you take her, to which the cashier said yes. I WASALREADYPLACINGITEMSONTHEBELT. I didn’t say a word, just calmly picked up my items and put them back in the cart. As I was trying to get my cart over to the other line, another family came in(I admit I wasn’t fast enough… I could’ve pushed my way over) and took my spot. The cashier#8 just shrugged her shoulders. I went to the red vest customer service guy, who was so busy in a phone conversation and simply held up one finger, to let me know that I wasn’t that important to even warrant eye contact. ALLTHETIMELINE#7LEFTHERSTUPIDLIGHTON. I loved going to this frys location… but not after the CRUDDY customer service. I will be posting this on your Facebook and Unilocal accounts. Thanks!

I love this Frys. I used to frequent the frys on Ellsworth and Broadway and they were not so great. I love my greenfield and main location because of the checkout clerks. They are all so friendly, I have to say sadly, that in this day and age I am not used to that. I am always guaranteed a fast and easy check out as well as all my supplies being in stock. The fact that I giving them a 5 star review with all the annoying remodeling they have going on says something. I hope the employees get recognized for the great work they do because they are what makes me come back over and over again.

Like going to this location. They just added a whole lot of new items to their store. Always clean. Staff is usually very friendly.

Moved from Cali to Mesa 1 year and a half ago with my wife, this Fry’s was the closest to our home so we made this our new go to store for our grocery needs. After the first 2 months of Weekly shopping one day after a hard day’s work I decided to grab a few cold one’s to relax over the weekend, as any law abiding grocery store would do the cashier ask’s for my ID so I more than gladly handed it to her but all of a sudden she says«Cali? Yuck!!! We don’t like people from Cali!» This cashier is an older Caucasian lady in early 60’s to mid 60’s with short bright red hair with grey roots, eyeglasses and stands between 5’6 to 6’0. This cashier totally ruined my afternoon that day, at that point my wife and I were weekly shoppers and found every other cashier pleasant to checkout with! This cashier needs to be re-trained or let go. #1…a business is a reflection of it’s employees #2.without customers a business cannot survive! Period! #3…if I am purchasing products from your store I don’t pay to hear your personal opinions about where I am from! After a year and a half I still shop here but I avoid that cashier at all cost! She is pernicious to the Fry’s company as a whole and if she is that blunt who knows what other vile things she might be saying to other customers at fry’s on main and Greenfield. Most importantly a cashier is more than a cashier, a cashier is the last impression of the company when you are leaving the store! To leave with a positive note here the older cashier that wears a lot of jewelry, grey wavy hair she is the kindest most pleasant cashier there! She deserves a bonus!

Not my go to grocery store, but when I need a quick fix for a dessert craving I come here! They usually what I’m looking for wether it be a certain chocolate bar, or a tasty cream cheese filled croissant! Like most grocery stores the cashier to customer ratio sucks, but not as bad as Walmart! Since I’m the duchess you already know I’ll be back for more nom noms. ;)

I actually like the Fry’s chain. I like their deli and produce sections. I’ve been a frequent customer of their store in Scottsdale at Hayden and Thompson Peak for years, that is about the best grocery store I’ve ever been in, except maybe the Ralph’s in the Gaslamp district in San Diego.(same company) This one on East Main St is near home but it is run down and looks like it needs a total remodel. And the whole furniture thing around the back and side of the store is just plain weird. The overall look is dirty and worn. The furniture looks like stuff from a mobile home dealer, D-grade furniture at B-grade prices, but furniture in the grocery store is just plain weird. There’s a large senior citizen complex just west of this strip mall with it’s own traffic light crossing walkway. So this store is often loaded with very elderly folks with walkers and motorized chairs moving along at 1⁄10th mile per hour. So patience and caution is the order of the day. Luckily they avoid the self check-outs so the younger more nimble folks can slip in and out of the store without getting stuck behind an 85 year old lady at the register where you know stuff is gonna take a loooooong time. I really like their deli chicken, either baked or fried. I’ve quit going to see the colonel and go here now for my chicken fix. But the secret is out and they are often out of what I want. I hang out in the store and often they have another batch cooking. Just ask, they can tell you when the next load is due. The clientele here is a bit sketchy. I don’t recommend wearing jewelry or bringing lots of cash in this store. And the bank just closed, but it was a BOA, so it’s no great loss. Just a testament to the clientele, they had an armed guard at the door to the bank all the time I went there awhile it was still open, which is not a good sign. I used to use the grocery app on my iphone but I went back to a post-it-note shopping list so I dont have to display my expensive cellphone inside this store. Safety. I would never go here after dark. Maybe now that the bank is gone it will be less of a crime target. I live just east of this place. Getting in the lot is easy, getting out is another story. So many one-way exits. If you live east or south of this store be prepared to make U-turns or illegal turns to get home. My answer? Do most of my shopping at another store. Fry’s is somewhat pricey on things. Downright overpriced on others. Their produce is mostly nice. I also like their meats. Their pharmacy is well run, not friendly but well run. No first-name basis here. So far they have been accurate and speedy. I’d rather have accurate than friendly.
