My family and I have gone there for a few years now. The first pair of glasses my husband got were terrible. Since my prescription hadn’t changed, I didn’t get new glasses until last year. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t see well until I found out that the lenses didn’t include my astigmatism. They also did this for one of my sons’ lenses. I don’t know if it’s the office staff not knowing how to submit orders, or the optometrist not writing the prescription correctly, but for what glasses cost, they better be correct. Also, a couple months after purchasing my last pair from them, the anti-glare coating($ 60+ extra) was coming off. They had to ship the lenses back. It took nearly two months for me to get them back since they misplaced my frames. The office is incredibly disorganized and inefficient. There is no reason to wait over an hour after your appointment time.

This will be my 3rd visit to Lees Eye Center. The thing I like most is they don’t have the Walmart selection for glasses. They have a quality selection to choose from and I am super picky. They are always fair & honest and make sure in the end I am happy.

Just moved to town and needed to have my glasses straightened. Staff was very attentive and helpful. I will definitley be back when it is time for an eye exam.

Lee’s eye care was in for the money, not providing care. I purchased glasses and a month later a screw started coming lose. I am a full time RVer and had already left Arizona. When I returned six months later, they said a washer was missing causing the screw to come lose. They were unable to find washers in-house due to their reconstruction project in process and needed to send my glasses out. I asked if they could be sent to me and they agreed if I paid the shipping costs. I argued the point as it was not my fault that they never had the washer beneath the screw in the first place. Nor was it my fault that during their reconstruction project they couldn’t find washers. And as a customer, I was inconvenienced for six months and further inconvenienced by being without glasses for more than a week. Finally Dr. Lee agreed to pay IF my glasses were sent partial post but would only go in half if I wanted them sent 2-day air. I paid the $ 12 for 2-day air myself. At that point I realized that they were into making money and cared little for the customer.

Great eye dr. Office looks clean and well decorated! Lots of staff working so barely no wait time! Dr. Dao was funny and has a great personality. She made you feel like she cared rather then treating you like just another patient. Frame selection works very well with VSP insurance! If your are looking for a non corporate eye doctor that treats you like a valued person this is the place to go!

I started coming here in 2013 I believe. I found the office because they take my insurance. The doctor gave me tons of options as far as contacts that would work best for me and he really took the time to answer my questions. However, the front office staff can leave a bad taste. In June of 2014 I bought glasses and unfortunately they broke about 3 weeks ago. I was disappointed because they were less than a year old so I returned to see if they could be fixed. I was surprised to see that the optometrist was up front assisting customers. He kindly offered to replace my glasses for $ 35 since it was under a year and I agreed. I anxiously waited a few weeks to get the call letting me know that my glasses were ready and I got it at 4pm on a Friday. I was excited to hear that they were in and made the decision to go pick them up first thing Saturday morning. I live in Tempe, so you can understand my frustration when I drove all the way to the office only to discover that they were closed that Saturday due to the Easter weekend. I’m all for the long holiday weekend, I think it’s great. However, instead of telling me the normal office days and hours over the voicemail, the staff should have mentioned that they would be closed that Saturday… I finally went and got my glasses today, and was once again greeted by a cold staff. Long story short I got my glasses, however, I’m no longer interested in getting my eyes cared for at this office. It’s disappointing because I really liked the optometrist, but the rest of the staff is terrible.

Staff is impatient, condescending, and not attentive to patients needs. Worst experience with a medical office. Will never return to this business. If the staff chooses to whisper remarks to coworkers they may need to verify what the HIPPA act means, if my experience was had been recorded I have no doubt an employee would be fired after this experience. Odds are those ladies didn’t act this way during their interview to get hired.

This is my second time here in a few months, first time was for me and this time is for my daughter. On both occasions I ended up waiting for about an hour before seeing anyone. I was on time for both visits, the wait is absolutely ridiculous. I have been going here for quite a few years and the front desk is always filled with new faces which may be reflective of why so many reviews seem negative about the front desk experience. Once you finally get into the examination room things move rather swiftly and both optometrists are friendly and skilled. Considering location, it would be nice if they had a wider selection of affordable frames. Becca was excellent on the back end and helped save the experience from being a total disaster.

This office was in the middle of renovation and very disorganized. Had to wait over 20 minutes after my appt. office staff was less than friendly. When I picked up my glasses the staff acted as though I was bothering them and their prices are not cheap! I am happy with the product but will not return.

I have gone here for about 3 years the last two visits have been horrible. They run about an hour late they have one dr on duty and schedule 3 appointments for the same time. The receptionist acts like shes there fir a paycheck doesnt care about anyone. There service was always good until these last 2 visits. If you like waiting hope you have a good book because you will be waiting for atleast an hour

My wife verified with them several times to make sure they took our insurance(aetna is not a fly-by-night company) before making an appointment for me. When we got there they said«yes, we do take Aetna, just not your plan». Very unprofessional, they should have verified the plan before wasting our time.

I just relocated here from Chicago & saw them while driving around. I had a recent exam and new frames, I just needed it filled. I walked in without an appointment & inquired about my insurance & what I needed & walked out less than 15 minutes later with everything taken care of. My glasses arrived in a timely manner & are great. Very nice staff!

Very helpful staff and great selection on lenswear. This is a family owned business and they care about their patients. Dr. Lee is friendly and professional. Unlike most doctors that don’t really take their time to answer all your questions, Dr. Lee is thorough and attentive to all your questions and concerns.
