They were friendly here and the two pastries we have taste fresh. HoweverI am used to the American palette of pastries being sweeter

For some reason the pushy cashier(A different one from last time) tried to convince me to buy gluten free cake(~$ 3 – 4 for a single smallish piece) after she saw I was getting some gluten-laden steamed buns(Strange), and then she proceeded to overcharge me for my purchase. I tried a chicken and mushroom steamed bun pack this time, which had way too much black pepper in the filling. Downgrade one star!

A must visit! They have a wide variety of baked goods and every one is delicious. Everything is reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I never leave the Mekong plaza without stopping in for something delicious. So great!

The BEST bakery shop I’ve been to in the states. Everything is delicious and it’s freshly made. I love the egg custard tarts, made just like my mom makes them. You can’t go wrong with anything you get here!

Been coming here for a few years and I really like the selection. A lot of the baked goods are priced $ 3 – 5 which is great. My favorite is the cream cheese bolo bread which I have never had before coming to this bakery. Don’t forget to get a stamp card!

«My anaconda don’t want none unless you got buns, hun!» Mekong Bakery, formerly known as AA Ozzy Bakery and AA Wholesome Bakery, sure has buns! They sell baked goods from coconut cream baos to onion & hot dogs buns. They have bread, cookies, cakes, tarts, savory buns, et cetera. The goods here are of the Asian variety so don’t expect to find your western desserts here. Want to buy someone special two dozen sweetheart/wife cakes or a delicious cream cake roll? Get a cute box! They have a rewards program so make sure you bring your stamp card. This place isn’t the cutest little bakery in town by any means but it’s straight-forward, no-frills, and stocked to the brim with an excellent array of yummies. Stop in if you’re in the Mekong Plaza. You can get yourself a little sweet or savory treat starting at $ 1.50 [although I always seem to walk away with $ 20 worth of stuff…]! I’m really curious on why they keep changing the name of this place though.
