Next Wave Tattoos and Piercings

Came in here on a whim and ended up getting two beautiful new tattoos. Thank you so much to Huck for working with me and helping me get exactly what I wanted. What a gem! You’ve definitely got a new regular. :)

So I’ve had 3 tattoo artists in my time. One in my 20’s, one in my 30’s, one in my 40’s.
Each have had a section of my body. In my 20’s I started on my legs, 30’s I moved to my arms and when I turned 40 I did my chest. I’m 43 now and decided to start on my back.
Joe will be the 4^th tattoo artist I have worked with.
I met Joe Garner in a bath house in Thailand many years ago and we clicked, surprisingly we both lived in the valley. I told him if I could ever leave the opium dens and wonderful bath houses of this wonderful country, I would have him tattoo my back. Thank goodness in my hallucinated state of mind, I some how managed to keep his card.

As I emerge from my opium addiction I am back home in the states. After several detoxs and rehab clinics I came in a discussed my dreams with Joe and told him my visions I had in the spirit world. He took what I said in interpreted it perfectly. We did a 3 hour beginning session and it went awesome. I’m guessing it will take 4 – 8 sessions to finish my dream, and I look forward to every session.
Next Wave tattoo, thumbs up. ALSO… they have the most awesome looking bathroom I’ve ever seen in a tattoo shop… nice touch.

Kenneth is one of the best!!! He has done two of my tattoo’s so far and I will never go anywhere else! He is such an amazing artist. I recommend everyone that wants a tattoo to see him. Hands down the best!!! Thanks Kenneth.

Mike is my artist! He is absolutely amazing and is willing to do whatever it takes to make his clients happy! He’s currently doing a Star Wars sleeve on me and every piece he adds gets more and more amazing! I highly recommend him!

Went there yesterday to get my nose pierced and the lady that did it, Kile, was VERY rude. She was also piercing my best friends tongue and was rude with her too. Every question we asked she would answer with the least words she could and gave us dirty looks and the wrong tips and advice the whole time. I have had my tongue pierced for 3 years and she told my best friend that everything me and everyone else we know, did as their tongue was healing was wrong… She literally said «who is telling you this stuff?!» She is a very rude piercer. Never, NEVER going here again!!!

I first went here because my roommate and I felt the need to get more work done. She had been here before, and I had not. I am wary of tattoo shops that I’ve never been to, but my roommate had previously had work done there, so I trusted her judgement. I was unsure when I walked up to the shop, it is very small and it seemed older from the outside. When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. The shop was very clean and all tools were sterilized in front of me.
My artist was nice enough, and did a very good job with the cross on my back. She did the ink to my specifications and made sure I was involved in the process every step of the way.
For how large my tattoo is, it was very decently priced. All in all it was a pretty decent experience.
