Quick trip, whatever location, is the only business of this sort I will frequent. It amazes me how consistent these stores are. Clean. Friendly. Reasonable prices inside. When I need a quick cheap lunch I stop here for a hotdog. Let’s talk about service now.
Many of you old timers probably remember back in the day when cashiers counted back your change the proper way. For instance, a 5.41 purchase. Hand the cashier a 20. The return, «OK here’s 6,7,8,9,10 and 10 is 20».
WHO STILL DOES IT THAT WAY??? Quick trip does. If you haven’t noticed that, pay attention next time you hand them cash.
And then after that, they give you a «Thanks for stopping in. See you tomorrow.» Often they address you by name, because they get it off your debit card.
I commented to a cashier once about the way they count back change and asked if they were trained to do it that way. Amazingly, the cashier said no, but that they all do it that way and that it is stupid not to. Bravo.
Circle K and 7 – 11 have nothing on quick trip. Nothing. I’ll be a duke here by the end of the week. Way to go QT.

Quik Trip is the best gas station EVER. Clean bathrooms, friendly staff, and a safe zone. There’s usually a lot of cops that stop by to get drinks as well so there’s added safety.
Never stopped in a QT that I didn’t like!
