I have lived at Shorebird for 11 months and will be leaving at year end, when my project ends. I have never had any issues at this complex and I’ve never felt scared to be in my apartment or out in the parking lot at night. Maintenance is on the job ASAP when a problem is reported. The grounds are beautiful and would be even better if people would not cut trails across across the grass. The staff is friendly and professional. I had one minor noise issue and that was resolved by the next day; I am a very light sleeper, if there was noise around, I’d have known it. Also, water, basic cable and wi-fi are provided. The wi-fi is as slow as you can expect shared wi-fi to be, that’s a given. My only fly in the ointment is that, although basic cable is provided, if you are in a furnished unit you can’t upgrade your cable/internet. If I were staying in the area, I’d renew my lease(It went up $ 1 for my original lease), albeit to an unfurnished for the cable issue. If you want a comfortable and safe place to stay, this would be my suggestion.

Lived here for almost 6 months, kind of glad my lease it up. First place since I got married and moved out. Its a nice place for the price, Paying $ 507.change for a 1×1. Nothing fancy… kitchen facet leaks and they never fix it. Had ants and they told me to wait till next week till the exterminator to come… The free wifi is awesome… but it is slow and sometimes is down. Parking is good minus people like to take up two flipping spots! All in all it is average, nothing terrible but nothing exuberant. P. S. We signed our lease a week after the cops found a guy stuffing his dead girlfriend in his apartment and they said NOTHING! *sarcastic thumbs up*
