I love Slickables! $ 2 ice cream sandwiches are the best! I try to get different flavor combination every time I go, I’ve had Funfetti with Strawberry Cheesecake, Double Chocolate Cookies with Rocky Road and Double Chocolate Cookies with Salted Caramel ice Cream. It’s a great place for a quick affordable treat. Every staff member I’ve met has been extremely nice and helpful!

The cookies were good but ice cream was just the run of the mill stuff. It treated generic and processed and defiantly not worth what I paid for it. The service was good and the lady there was nice. There really isn’t much to this place at all. It’s just another ice cream shop. 3 stars for service.

Who thought of the name for this place? I would never have guessed they sold ice cream. The only reason I went in was we were walking by and I thought the concept (make ice cream sandwiches with cookies) was intriguing… and I was in the mood for ice cream.
When I found out the price of the basic sandwich, my first question is «How do you make money?» I was expecting to pay twice that much.
I have to get on the «lack of flavor» train. The salted caramel ice cream was neither salty nor very caramel-​y.
Despite this, I have to give these folks four stars for value. It was good, but not fantastic.
I’d go back… and did the next night.

Finally, some place to eat a snack at in downtown Mesa. This place is usually busy when there’s an event in downtown. It’s obvious. At night, it’s like one of the only hang out places opened unless you want to spend your time in a coffee shop or a restaurant or a bar.
When it comes to downtown, good places are lacking. And this place definitely adds to downtown. And who doesn’t like ice cream sandwich between two cookies? Or sandwiched between two brownies?
Food is good and cheap and fast service. :)

This place is one of Mesa’s little gems in downtown.
For the $ 2 price of one large ice cream scoop then sandwiched by two delicious cookies, you can beat it! Try buying the same somewhere else? I dare you!

The is on Seventh and Mill Ave. Parking in this area can be a hassle depending how busy it is.
I got two Snickerdoodle cookies with Pecan ice cream. This was a delicious combo.
The daughter got Strawberry ice cream but I don’t remember what flavor cookies.
We both enjoyed our treat. I think I enjoyed mine a little more than she did. LOL.
There are only two small tables inside and no patio tables outside. It would be nice to have a couple outdoor tables.

To all the haters: Let me start by putting the B.S. rumor about, «lack of flavor» to rest. I came here today with the initiative of getting 2 of these bad boys and I left with one… and one was PLENTY! Soooo freakin good! I had the salted caramel sandwiched between 2 double chocolate cookies and it was bursting with flavor! So rich and tasty! Seriously, if you think these delectable sandwiches lack flavor, then you should probably avoid eating Texas sheet cake for breakfast and brushing your teeth with high fructose corn syrup.
It’s dangerous how close this place is to my house… I almost asked for an application just so I could enjoy the benefits of working there.

Love this place! So simple and yet so delicious and satisfying. Choose your ice team and choose your cookies and tada! You have your perfect dessert. Oh and all for two bucks! You cannot go wrong with this place. Just keep in mind that seating is quite limited so you’ll have to mosey along but you probably won’t care because you’ll be so excited about how great your treat is. I want to go there right now actually!

Pretty much what you would expect. A decent-​sized selection of ice cream and cookies to choose from. The cookies were warm and soft, and the ice cream sandwiches are huge for $ 2. Definitely worth a trip, but keep in mind that downtown parking can be tricky depending on what time you go.

$ 2 for a giant ice cream sandwich! Great price and fun concept. They need to work on their to go packaging, but other than that it’s great. I’ve gone 3 times and it’s been delicious every time. The staff have all been nice and friendly.

Nice chewy soft cookies and THRIFY ICECREAM! Yum! We love the price too and it’s great having something that stays open late on Main Street! We will definitely be coming here for date night a lot! You can tell they tried to make the décor cute, it’s not bad, but sort of half way. Hopefully as it succeeds they will make improvements so it will be a really cute place to hang out!

Yum! $ 2 for an ice cream sandwich, you choose the cookies and ice cream flavors. The kids loved it and so did we! Can’t wait to go back. Maybe next time I’ll try a smoothie or their fresh juices!
