T&A’s Mobile Welding

Can’t give much of a review because they never showed up — 3 times.
I had an appointment with them. They called the night before saying they had an accident in the field and we rescheduled for the next week. That day came and passed and no one showed up or called. I called and they rescheduled again for the following day, still citing the field accident as putting them behind. That day too came and passed and no one showed up or called. I gave them 3 chances and they couldn’t deliver.

After 25 years in the service industry, I would suggest T&A look up the word «service» in the dictionary. I needed a small repair and they said they could be out by Monday. At 1pm on Monday they confirmed. At 4 ish they said they were running behind and would have to reschedule. Mind you, I have now wasted my one day off waiting on them.
We agreed that they would show up before 9am. I told them i needed them closer to 8.
I called when they said «15 min should be a 5 min repair» …at 8:53. So, the 5 min repair was too much for them on Monday and they were going to charge me for 45 min labor .for 5 min work? When i called to cancel the man screamed at me. Called me a little worm and said he was #1 in service and that he «did not give two shits about me and my little work». At 9:05 he called me a Fu%$ing liar… even though they were still running late. IN his screaming rant he said he was #1 in service…
Never.Ever use this company. I will be filing with the BBB and other social media. Screen captures and samsung S5 auto record should be enough to let the public know about this travesty of service. I would like to point out that 2 stars does not make you #1 in service. T&A is as good at math and telling time as they are at customer service.

I want to preface this review by saying I don’t know Tyler from Adam, but I needed a new hinge welded on my RV gate and wasn’t having any luck getting anyone who could weld to come fix it. With my HOA breathing down my neck, I figured I’d give T&A’s a try. Here’s what happened:
He answered the first time I called.
He was able to make it out the same day, and as it turns out he was early!
He had all of the necessary replacement parts with him, already, in his truck.
He did a great job fixing my gate, even replacing the bottom hinge as well, and relocating everything so the gate would line up better. He even fixed the ground pin on the other gate so it would work properly!
His price was more than fair, and the workmanship was great. I’ve already scheduled him to come back to do some more work.
So my personal experience with Tyler and his company has been great.

Unfortunately, I received a threat from a representative from this company via e-​mail. The thread is as such:
«For the record you know who this is but also cannot prove anything as the company has access to this email. Ill be seein ya. Dont know when or where to look behind ya but when you turn. „Someone“ will be standing there. Lights out… dont mess with a grown mans lively hood little boy! Been warned. Got the address! Be seein ya Later!»
This company has been a total nightmare to deal with, and I have yet to receive my refund.

This guy is a total joke, we requested a job for our business and he said if we paid up front he would do it the next day. The next day he showed up, started the job and said he needed more money for materials. We told him we were not in a rush so he could come back next week. When he did not show up we called him and promised to show up the week after and the week after. This went on for a month until he we told him we wanted a refund. He then threatened my my wife and call her a ‘bitch’. I would never do business with this guy.

My fence latch broke during a storm and I needed someone to weld it back together. I called Tyler and he quickly said he could be out the next day. The next day it started to rain, but I was called and updated to the status given welding in the rain isn’t possible.
Once the skies cleared, Tyler quickly came over and did a great job on the latch. He knew what he was doing with the latch and put a nice new bead of weld so that the gate worked like new.
I like to to lots of things on my own, but welding isn’t one of them. I’m sure going to call Tyler when I need any welding. Finding a locally owned and operated shop like this is great.

I called them after seeing an ad on craigslist. Over the phone they seemed very knowledgeable and I felt confidant in them coming to my home to do a small welding job. or so I thought it was small. They arrived hours later than when they said they would arrive. This guy Tyler is HOT MESS. He seemed intoxicated and shifty. He was sweating profusely He was constantly being verbally abusive to his helper/​wife not quite sure. He tried to charge me almost double what his original quote was. He was rude and I felt like he was trying to rip me off. If I had the opportunity to go back in time I would have never invited this man with the tact of a caveman to my home. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

BEWARE!
Shoddy work that took weeks to complete. Tyler (said he was the owner) then tried to charge me more than originally quoted for repair to a wrought iron fence. The guy is a cheater, and cheaters never win!
I’ll not only never do business with them again, but I’m also going to put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
