I absolutely love this place. I have been participating in this program for at least 8 years. I originally started with Tone Zone because of a pricing special. The special is long over but I am still actively attending. Over the years, I have trained with all three and they are all great. The first thing that I noticed about Tone Zone was that I was able to do my cardio workouts with much more gusto. I used to burn 300 — 350 calories in an hour of Jazzercise. Now I burn between 425 — 500 calories in an hour(sometimes even more). I also noticed that the simplest of things were easier to do — carrying groceries, moving furniture, yard work, bowling, and picking up and holding my kids(I can still carry my 150 pound, 15-year old son). I started when Tone Zone was primarily free weights and did well with that. However, a few years ago I realized that parts of me were not aging as well as I had hoped. At that point, I moved to gravity training. The gravity trainer is easily able to adjust for my quirks(soreness in my neck, hip flexor tightness, and tender knees). The very best thing about Tone Zone is the training staff. They are top notch. Their in depth knowledge of how the muscles work is demonstrated with their challenging and effective workouts. I actually looked up the term«Personal Trainer» on . The Tone Zone trainers’ pictures should be there. Here is what it says. «A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in exercise prescription and instruction. They motivate clients by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to clients. Trainers also measure their client’s strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments.» The trainers at Tone Zone do that very thing. I must also admit that aside from being amazing trainers, they make classes a lot of fun. While I am getting an incredible work out, I am also enjoying the company of some wonderful women.
