U-Haul at W Broadway

I have rented many U-​Haul Trucks and Trailers from this location over the years, seems like they have been there forever. I recently rented a Motorcycle Trailer to pull my bike up to the Payson Area. It was a great trailer, Cheap too, Only $ 48 for 3 days! They even helped me hook and unhook it from my truck!

Everyone knows that moving is a pain, but you’d hope that companies would try and make it easier on customers throughout the process. We recently rented a 5×9 trailer to tow behind the SUV instead of renting a truck. The pick up process went smoothly after we initially called 3 places to find an available trailer. It was the return process that was a nightmare! Because all of the other U-​Haul stores were out of trailers we had to go out of our way to pick it up further from both the old and new home locations. We requested to drop it off at a closer location so we didn’t have to haul it all around Phoenix and was told no. So this process added an extra 45 minutes to our move to take it back to the original location. It was about 8pm and the location had closed with no instructions on where to leave it. So we just pulled in, unhooked it and left. Thank god no one stole it during the night and we received our final bill via email the following day. The rental just stressed us out more than the move did– not cool!

This U-​Haul has great customer service and a good truck options! Andy took really great care of me, even though his store was being repainted and worked on when I was there. He set me up with a hitch and trailer but then referred me to another location so I could get my hitch on quicker (his garage was being worked on).
I really appreciated the help and I’d 110% recommend this location. They made my stressful move a lot nicer.

Much better than my last few U-​Haul experiences. This location seems to be family run with pride. Very clean with a large selection of trucks. The neighborhood isn’t all that pleasant but it is centrally located in Mesa.
