Not pleased with this office and the way it is run in the slightest bit. My first appt I was called back 50 min after my scheduled time, and my second appt I was called back an hour and 10 min after my scheduled time… absolutely normal for this office. The receptionists really need to find the will power to smile.

Dr. Biesbroeck and his «Diabetes Educator» Margret prescribed meds, the next visit I told them my sugars were too low with the dosage prescribed. She got rattled and denied prescribing the meds. (Now, I have it in her own handwriting but I didn’t want to show her and make the situation worse.) I just sat there, let her treat me like a 2 year old, give me a lower dosage, then hustle me out the door.

My first appt was a complete waste of time & money… They overbook their appointments, so I had to wait 1.5 hours past my scheduled appt time.
I paid my $ 50.00 «specialty doctor» co-​pay when I arrived… 1.5 hours later, Dr. Shahzad walked in for maybe 60 seconds. He took one look at me, insisted on new blood work & a new appt.
I rescheduled, left, got new blood work as soon as I could & returned for my second scheduled appt. After another ridiculously long wait & $ 50.00 co-​pay, I finally saw the Dr for 2 whole minutes!
He put me on Synthroid, which I started right away & all my symptoms became 10x worse, to the point of wanting to just die. So of course I knew he was not the doctor for me.
I called the office back, requesting a different Dr, but the office will not allow me to switch doctors! Saying, they dont share patients… I dont want to see both doctors, I want to switch!
Dr Shahzad was not the least bit friendly, didnt listen to a word I had to say & was nearly impossible to understand… I do not recommend this office to anyone.

The office staff is VERY incompetent! The receptionist was very unprofessional and rude, the doctor’s nurse/​medical assistant admitted that she forgot to follow up with my husband on getting a procedure scheduled, and then they forgot to send over his medical records for surgery review. I will never recommend this doctor or his practice because of his office staff. The wait time is always more than an hour and a half long. This is the worst experience we have ever had. The staff should be compassionate and helpful especially when it comes to one’s health!!! DO not go to this practice they are horrible!

They seem to be very efficient here. We used to see Dr Lewis, but he died some time ago. We continue to come here to the new guy, and he seems very competent. He is very data-​oriented, frequently mentioning what studies have (and have not) shown. But he also pays attention to how the patient feels even as he checks the lab reports.
They have an online system to manage your care which seems to be good. A few clicks and they’ve ordered your new prescription for you. A few more and they’ve printed out a blood work order.
