I’ve been going there for over 12yrs. The workers are so nice, the pharmacist is caring, they let me know if there’s medication interact.

I’ve had problems with Walgreen’s in the past with med errors from the pharmacy. (wrong med, someone elses med, wrong dosage)
This is one of the locations in AZ that offers the Theranos blood testing service. The advertising theme is just a tiny amount of blood is required for testing. The dishonest part of this concept is that the big deal with blood testing isn’t how much blood is required but how much pain you get collecting the blood sample (and the cost).
The amount of blood collected does not determine pain, the needle piercing the skin and vein does. So don’t be confused by their marketing gimmic, the needle counts, not the amount of blood collected. It does not make any difference if ten blood tubes or ten drops is collected. An average adult and large child has several liters of blood, the amount of blood used for testing is irrevelant. Only some of their tests require a small amount of blood, many require a regular size blood tube.
This service mandates a doctors order and the release of lots of personal information which makes you more vulnerable to identity theft and loss of more medical privacy.
I would suggest you get your blood testing done at ‘Any Lab Test Now’ where you can do it without risking your identity like you will at walgreen’s.
Summary: The amount of blood required for any given test does not determine the pain, the location and size of the needle does. Protect your identity, go elsewhere for lab work.
