I had a very good burger when we were up camping last year and they have a jukebox. Hope to stop in this year.

Évaluation du lieu : 4 Washington, DC
So you’re out camping in the mountains of Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania in an attempt to cleanse yourself of the urban filth and chaos of living in Washington, DC. No running water, no TV, no radio… when all of a sudden, the one bar of connectivity on your cell phone allows you to receive a text message: «Doc perfect through 5» Sunuvabitch! So you hop in the car and speed the 15 miles to the closest bar, Twisted Dick’s in Meshoppen, to catch the rest of the game and throw back a few. While the cigarette smoke hangs heavily at Twisted Dick’s, the beer is super cheap and the people are easy-going and chatty. Our delicious food – fried pickles, mmm – was carefully prepared by a single elderly lady in the small kitchen in the back. High point of the night at Twisted Dick’s was having another patron buy the entire place a round of drinks, which was a bit shocking until we realized that it probably only cost him $ 20 and then had us seriously considering a permanent relocation to Meshoppen.
