Pros: Groceries that you can afford Veggies priced right Bag you own food Bring your own bags or purchase Need a quarter for the cart=Very few carts in the lot+++ Cons: Very little name brands(Mostly Aldi’s brand; now offer a Natural brand as well) NO Bells & Whistles-Just groceries I love this store & just spent $ 44 and got tons of meat(turkey ham/hot dogs/sausage), chicken breast, cereals, chips, snacks, veggies, & yogurt! I would have spent about $ 10 more if I went to WMart & even purchased the generic.

ALDI is my favorite store since 2003 when I lived in upstate NY. I was jumping over my head when suddenly ALDI opened in Mesquite less than a half of a mile from my house. And I was right because it was the same old ALDI with everyday surprise when you go shopping and don’t know what new products they have added! The store is always clean, staff is friendly and prices are simply amazing! So why have I gave them 3?! Because I cannot go to this store… I work and I only get the place around 7PM and food is still there — I can get anything! Yes, the food is there and also bunch of people pushing full carts of goodies to… ONE register that is opened! What a shame! I kept trying many times to buy my favorite items but after spending 10 hrs at work I really have no energy standing for about 40 minutes in the line holding about 5 – 6 small packages in my hands… I simply drop everything and leave… So sorry! I gave up! I have to go shopping to ALDI at Buckingham in Garland on my way home. Last time I actually bought something at my store about 6 months ago… As I said I keep trying almost every week but no luck… I love this store and tell everybody how great it is but I do hope that management will read and think about may be 2 registers opened by evenings or may be an additional express one where people with a jar of milk can pay?! It would be just great! Thank you, ALDI, for having good food and lots of very cool unusual things!
