Its ok to just take the kids skating but party wise no never would do it if you want a cheap place to take your kids skating this the place, everything else go somewhere else

No air conditioning. Dirty. Hole in bathroom wall. Bathroom smelled like everyone has peed on the floor since 1992 and never mopped and/​or Lysol-​ed the place. No way would I ever book a party here. What a miserable experience!

First let me say that I rarely write reviews, but this one NEEDS to be made…
I reserved a two hour time slot to host my six year old daughter’s birthday party here. I bought the most expensive package with additional food & drink & even a few extra guests. I also purchased 12 weeks worth of skating lessons for my daughter & so I WASN’T AFRAID TO DROP SOME MONEY HERE. The party goes on with Faith as our server. The first hour we barely see her even though I had already requested our pitchers of soda, I had to ask a couple times if our waitress forgot about us. The kids do some skating & after we had been there almost an hour, we get our pizzas. Then it takes another 30 minutes after we have all eaten pizza to get them to bring on the cake (which I provided). Then the second we are done serving the cake & begin to open presents, the lights go out. I’m not talking about just the lights over the skating rink, EVERY SINGLE LIGHT IN THIS PLACE IS TURNED OFF!!! So we proceed to then try to open up presents IN THE DARK! This happened @ 3pm, an hour & a half into our birthday party. We only have our reservation until 3:30, mind you & now the lights are all out. I cannot find all our kids. We are desperately trying to open & SEE the gifts & the others in our party. We couldn’t even take pictures because we were using our cell phones as flashlights, SOOOO, we ask Faith if she would kindly turn the lights on over our table so we can see what we are doing. This never happens until finally we are done with presents, guests are leaving, & it is now 3:30 & the lights finally come back on. I wasn’t really that upset until I vocalized my unhappiness with the staff. I was referred to A.J., apparently the owner. This guy walks up drinking a mug of coffee & with no professional attitude & first thing he says to me is, «I didn’t do it.» We’ll…ok, but please hear me out. I begin to ask why the lights were cut off, why they were not turned on for us, & why wasn’t I told this blackout would occur when I made my reservation during this time slot. Mr. A.J. Then tells me, the customer, that 1. The lights ALWAYS go off every Saturday @ this time, regardless.
2. I was the FIRST customer in fifteen years that has ever complained??? Wha??? Excuse me? Really I find this hard to believe!
3. The lights were only off for three songs. I explained to him that my party was only two hours long & that the last 30 mins had been absolutely in the dark & that it was inconvenient, we were uncomfortable, & now we were unhappy. No matter how many songs it was, it EQUALED 30 MINUTES & pointed out the time was now 3:35 & the lights had now been on for only about 5 mins.
This «manager» proceeded to argue with me further, said he would only «talk to» the waitress & that was it. He was definitely not take anything off our bill.
Soooo, here I am again, completely shocked @ his behavior & astonished @ his lack of managerial support to his staff while his customers are unhappy & he drinks his coffee & argues with me. I guess this establishment is not interested in improvement or having well paying customers return to this dump. If that’s the way he wants to run his business, I will definitely take my business & my consumer dollars ELSEWHERE!!!
BOTTOM LINE: DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS LOW-​CLASS DUMP!!!
