I come here when I’m looking for discounted holiday lights & décor — you can find pretty good deals on those — other than that, I don’t come to this store for any other reason. This particular store is situated in a dicey part of Mesquite. Always looking over my shoulder when I’m in the parking lot and lighting could be vastly improved. Also, keep an eye out for panhandlers. I encountered a woman who was going up to customers and hitting them up for cash.

Store does not have some of the stock that others in the area seem to have (Centerville store has much more) and the place is always in disarray. Staff is about on par with other Big Lots-​not really concerned with helping you find something-​but will assist when asked.
The main draw is, of course, getting things on the cheap, and they do a pretty good job of that. It is worth a few minutes every couple of weeks or so, just to see what new deals have been brought in. It may take you awhile– but you will find a bargain.

Going to Big Lots has been a habit of mine for a long time. Whether it’s buying toys for my kids or inexpensive scrapbooking supplies, Big Lots has been an option for me for a long while.
Organization isn’t one to the top priorities or maybe they just don’t have time (picking up at the end of the night), Big Lots has some decent, low priced stuff; but, you may have to look closely… some foods are close to expiration date… just keep that in mind; it’s not everything, but a few things… so be aware of that…
