So much better than Aloha. Its sort of weird like 1 lady said, it’s like being sent in a time machine back to 1976. Sadly i can only give 3 stars because, like Aloha, I was digusted to the point of holding my breath in the restroom… the urine smell was overwhelming. I dont know why a place this old cant close for a couple days in a row and paint, fix, repair, update, scrub and clean!!! No excuse at all for such a nasty bathroom. Really gross.

I’ve hosted a few kids birthday parties here. It’s reasonably priced, spacious and always a good time. «Dad» is friendly and helpful. The snack bar is nice and they have a few arcade games also.

Talk about old school skating rink… this place will bring you back to your childhood days when you had birthday parties and school fundraisers!!! From the aesthetics of Dad’s, it’s been around for awhile and the interior and exterior are all dated but that’s what’s so genuine about this skating rink. I came here for a private birthday party where we rented out the entire rink and I must say… it was pretty awesome because it wasn’t crowded and I wasn’t trying to dodge little kids here and there. The workers are nice and skate around with you. They have a good playlist of top songs(not sure if they have the music or if we brought in the songs). All in all — good wholesome fun!

A friend hosted an ‘80s night skating fundraiser here & we all had a blast. Thanks to Dad’s for opening your doors to us & keeping us supplied with great tunes all night! Yea, the place is a little old, but most rinks have aged along with those of us that use to frequent them on a weekly basis. The rink space itself is big & there’s plenty of places to park your tush once you’ve finished skating it off. All of the workers were friendly & even the skates were in decent shape. As a whole, the floor itself was in alright shape, so at least we weren’t dodging holes or soft spots. The only down side: yucky bathrooms. I’m holding it next time, for sure. Again — thanks to the staff for hosting the fundraiser & providing great entertainment. :)

I love this rink — Dad’s is awesome! Dad(Randy) always has time to help a gal out with her wheels or offer advice on gear… plus, the conversation in itself is worth it. Family night on Thursdays… my kids always loved it. Plus, the place is cool enough to have roller derby practice at, right?

Love Dad’s! Our roller derby league skates there three times a week, and Dad(Randy) is awesome to us. Check out Assassination City Roller Derby’s bouts there on the third Saturday of every month! It’s BYOB on those nights, and kids under 10 get in free! Go to for tickets and the season schedule!

If you were like me back in the 80s, you lived for those roller skating birthday parties. Back when in-line skates were just a pipe dream, we did our best attempts to jam skate on our four wheelers to the likes of Madonna and Wham! Dads Broadway took me back to those days… had I had grown up in the boonies. Honestly, the folks at Dads Broadway are super friendly and the rink is pretty spacious. It’s just that its location isn’t all that convenient or appealing. When we rolled in on a Friday night, we honestly thought we stumbled on a giant metal shed with a half lit sign that says«Skate» on it. There were maybe a dozen or so middle school kids making circles on the giant wooden rink. The place looks and feels old. If you want to skate back in time, this is definitely the place to hit up. You and your grown friends can virtually own the rink and hokey poke your way around the block. There aren’t a lot of other entertainment options around so if you hit this place up, you’re coming for the skating. I understand there’s some roller derby action happening at Dads Broadway from time to time. Now that’s worth making a trip out to Mesquite for!
