Awesome customers service and didn’t need to hassle or feel like I was rushed. Took the time to find everything I need at an affordable price. Will definitely make the trip back there again.

Fantastic customer service and tons of great deals. If you’re an avid gamer you’ve got to go to game trade. Sign up for their member club it’s cheap and it will save you money. I don’t live in mesquite anymore but I still go out of my way to visit Game Trade whenever I’m buying or trading a game(they give you more for your game than Game Stop etc.). They are usually pretty busy and have a line unless you come early in the day or late just before closing. New release parties are a blast and the LAN room is fun way to kill a few hours(without dropping much coin). Just stop by and check this place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Good to find classic games and accessories, not so great for preordering consoles. Twice I’ve been bitten by their protocols with that. Shame on me. Also, GameStop is a bit more competitive with their used games policies. You cannot get your money back for a used game that ended up being awful after a day or two. But again, great for finding neat older gaming items.

Good for pre ordering games and midnight releases but when«reserving» a console DONOTGOHERE!!! I had to buy another Xbox one at the Gamestop three blocks down while GAMETRADE holds my money hostage till the Xbox One comes in. I preordered 3 months ago and have yet to receive my system. THey give you this crap about Microsoft is on back order??? I went to Gamestop, Walmart, Microcenter, etc… and they get new shipments each week.

Game trade is your friendly local video game store. I’m past my video game prime, but when I had some time to kill in Mesquite I decided to check about Game Trade. I’ve never cared for game stop, I knew I was getting ripped off, but I didn’t have a lot of other choices. Game Trade is the remedy for the mega-corporate game store. They have great prices, they have great staff, they have a LAN center for the kids. It’s a fun atmosphere, almost a community if you will. I only play about 1 game a year, but I’m going to always buy it from Game Trade.

Game Trade has everything your local video game store would, except for a large collection of vintage games and a gaming area in the back. They have used old games for the NES to the Genesis to the first Playstation and everything in between. Some of the less popular cartridges are pretty cheap and will run you around five bucks. However, if you’re in need of a real nostalgia fix, they offer some of the more iconic cartridges and games under a glass counter top at the register for a higher price. The gaming area covers almost half of the store and is sectioned off by product shelves. There are seven flat screens along with XBOX360s and PS3s for each television. The lights on that half of the store are dimmed so you can see the games better and they do require that you call in and make an appointment so they can save you a TV. There is also a small selection of Warhammer, Magic the Gathering, and other strategy game like merchandise back there along with a table you can reserve in case you want to get your D and D on. Game Trade is nice for those who are looking for a local place to play with friends or who are interested in purchasing back pieces of their childhood. Other than those two unique features, Game Trade is like any other game store.
