went after a number of items all were in stock. Found items without trouble. But the wait at checking out was to long, People were in long line waiting to be checked out.

If you want a tool that you can use and throw away, yes. If you want to exchange a defective tool, in my case, a C-Clamp broke in ½, you are SOL. Even you want an even exchange, the bunch of people who works there could care less. I bought it cash, did not save the receipt, and wanted an even exchange. Anyway, I had spend quite a few $ there, but I shall bring it elsewhere. Customer service is almost non-existent. All the ladies that run the cashiers, smile, be happy you have a job, and not all customer owes you money. The attitude is just horrible. So, buyer beware.

I always have good customer service. Never have had a problem with this location. Always in stock on the items I want. Most item are easy to find in the stores layout. Don’t buy any items that have motors on them. They do not last but most everything else works great. Most item are cheaper then anywhere else. Example they have a work light that is $ 3.49 and works great and is very bright for the price. I never pay $ 3.49 for them. If you look in the Sunday paper you will find a ad for harbor. The ad normally has 2 – 4 coupons. 1 of the coupons is a 20% off one single item. The other 1 – 3 are get a free item with any purchase(the coupon tells what item you get free). The work light is one of those coupons normally. So I’ll buy an item and use a 20% off coupon and a free item coupon.

The store is great. Tools are ok for something your not going to use a ton. But the customer service from the cashiers is just that. They are only cashiers and have almost no knowledge about tools or customer service. Everyone else was pretty good at there job. I asked the cashiers, «do you have a rebuild kit for those air compressors over there» he said, «what we have is on that wall sir». He didn’t even care when I showed him the part that broke on my compressor and that I was trying to fix it instead of just returning it and asking for my money back. Again great store for things you don’t need to use very much

I love stores that contain within them at least one aisle of random crap. Harbor Freight Tools has such an aisle, including food dehydrators, can crushers, cast iron pots, dental instruments, electric razors, blood pressure cuffs, toy airplanes/helicopters, solar panels, and megaphones. The rest of the store is populated with the things people probably go into the store to buy like trailer hitches, full rain suits, rakes, slippery pads to put under furniture to rearrange your living room, and a craptastic array of tarps. If you don’t like stores like Home Depot and Lowe’s because a) they’re just too big, b) you don’t need to buy wood, or c) you are only there because your boyfriend/husband/father/friend/someone who isn’t you had to get a bolt/tarp/bit-type thing, then you’ll love Harbor Freight. It’s like a two step treasure hunt. Step 1: Find the aisle of shit. Step 2. Browse.

When life is a little less exciting, and you feel the need to add some danger into the mix, you’ll find everything you need for trouble at Harbor Freight. At totally bargain prices too. Love me some Harbor Freight!

Unless you are right next door to them(which I am), there is not really a compelling reason to patronize this store. There are better options no matter how you slice it: the big chains have better selection at equal or better price and the smaller locally owned hardware stores have MUCH better customer service.

I love Harbor Freight! This is the best new addition to Dallas. If you need affordable tools that are guaranteed, this is the place for you. Power tools, hand tools, lawn tools, everything you need to finish that project. There’s also tons of stuff for the hobbiest too. Every time I go in there I find something I need. Lots of stuff for the house at super prices. There’s something here for everyone. While you’re there, sign up for the mailing list. They’ll send you out fliers with great coupons that add to their already low prices. Every flier has a 20% off any item coupon. Trust me, this place is great!

Been here only once but it was a good shopping experience. The staff person went out of their way to help me out and was genuine about it, didn’t act like it wax just another thing he had to do. As for the store, it is your typical Harbor Freight store. However, there are some items they don’t stock while other locations do, so make sure you check availability.
