When my husband and I walked up to the older woman guarding the door at the JBF sale yesterday, she looked us up and down and said, «Are you adults?»
As someone approaching 30 years of age, married for five years, and halfway through a pregnancy, it cracked me up.
This particular sale is in a massive room at the Mesquite Rodeo & Convention center. For larger items like Pack-​n-​Plays and strollers, etc., I think you’re better off with Craigslist. My favorite was the huge rows of baby and kids clothes — it was like shopping at a Costco-​sized used kids clothes store.
