Mazda of Mesquite

Over 2.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation WITH a prescheduled appointment. They give excuses as to why but by periodically checking on it, you could see the car went untouched for over an hour.

Took our RX-​8 to Mazda of Mesquite. Service advisor Angela Gomes always kept me updated. Lead tech Cole Taylor was thorough and even went with me on post repair test drive. ALWAYS friendly. In my opinion they both went the extra mile.

I love this place! Yes dealerships are a little more pricey but it’s guaranteed service! This is a lot nicer than other dealerships I’ve been to in the past. I bought my Sorento here in February and they were very knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with my million questions. I get my oil changes etc here too and Angela rocks! She’s very helpful and honest lol they are very kind to my son when he tags along with me too lol I will keep returning here! This may be my second review, but it’s worth it lol

So far so good! Test drove a 2016 mazda3 s grand touring earlier in the week with Nick Searcy. Was blown away by the car. I was replacing a Elantra that had been totalled. I wanted the best car in that class. We were negotiating a lease for an i touring with a third party, not quite the car I wanted. We were to receive contracts to review the next week so we decided to approach Mazda of Mesquite by text because of our interaction with Nick. We worked with sales manager AJ and got the price for the s touring at a place we estimated would be worth the investment and the right monthly payment to buy instead of lease conveniently via text. We went down and drove the s touring and were ready to buy right off the transport truck. Don’t get me wrong. When you purchase a car its going to be some negotiating for certain conditions even before talking to the finance person and picking a warranty. But it was a pleasure working with Nick. Best informative no pressure test drive experience ever. And we’ve bought at least 6 cars in the last 10 years. Then we had the pleasure of working with Alvin Davis wrapping up our warranties and financing. It was such a pleasure working with him and felt that he was very informative and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. He helped us understand the warranty coverage we needed for our circumstances and we were able to achieve the monthly payment we were aiming for. I highly recommend them. This was a great experience, we will use their service department in hopes that they are equally as great and will go to them next time we are ready to go buy another Mazda, which maybe soon, given the quality as compared to the loaded 2012 Volvo my wife has been considering replacing before the warranties run out.

No stars! I was sold a car that was in a wreck. Though I realize this likely common practice the issue is it was just a bad part. I purchased a used car with very few miles and its a 2014 Chevy Impala and first the reflector clip fell off inside the passenger headlight lens then the light was going off and on. I took the car to a Chevy dealership and was then told the car had been wrecked and after-​market part was used to repair the headlight and it would not be covered under my bumper to bumper because it was not a GM part. I had a male call and speak with the original salesman (since I am female and I dont want to be mislead) who referred the issue to the sales manager Don Fisher. He was not even in the least apologetic and went on to say that it’s coming place to put after-​market parts for repair on cars that are sold and it’s likely the Chevrolet dealership uses those type parts on cars they repair. I explained that I just would like my car repaired since it was still under bumper to bumper warranty.
He then says well since it’s under warranty bring it in and we will take care of it. When I get there I am told it will be a $ 100 deductible! I call him back and he says that when he said he would take care of it that it NEVER meant I wouldn’t have to pay money. Now as you read this how consumer friendly does this dealership sound to you? At this point I am waiting on an email response from David Gomez the general manager and I just arrived to attempt to take to him personally. Until further notice stay away from here!
*update* I have spoken with Mr. Gomez, the general manager, He responded to my email quickly. I am presently waiting on my repair to be finished. He apologized for my inconveniences (others I didn’t mention in the review). If you purchase from here and have a problem please just see him to get it resolved. He has the consumer’s happiness in mind.

I was treated with kindness and patience. When I wanted to test drive 3 cars, Andy didn’t blink an eye. He was very patient. The other staff members, like Alvin in Finance were very kind also. Another employee saw me getting a cup of coffee and insisted on making me a new pot. When he found out I was hungry he said there were staff members here who would be happy to go get me something. They understand how long it takes to buy a car and are kind. They gave me an excellent trade-​in value for my car.

Service: Made an appointment last minute. Was very glad they got us in on a Saturday. Quoted $ 259 for the recommended 45k service. No additional service was done except I added a $ 30 car wash figuring for $ 30 hand car wash had to be good. Got my car expecting to pay $ 289. give or take. Imagine my surprise when I got the bill and it was $ 341. When I questioned all I got was a oh sorry. Didn’t seem to really care. I am not accustomed to pay over $ 50 PLUS I was given a $ 10 coupon so in actuality it was $ 60 more… the car wash I got was horrible. No where near worth the $ 30 or even $ 10. People were very polite but unorganized. If I were to want to service my car at a dealer again i would think twice before bringing it to Mesquite Mazda. How am however they got me in at last minute. Just did not know I was paying premium for it…

The service while buying the car was sub par at very best. Then when I had to go back to have a hole in the upholstery fixed, I called several days before and was told to be there at 12:30, when I got there I was told that the women doing the upholstery would not be there until 4, and I live over an hour away so I had to wait. Then, before my tags even came in the car breaks down and requires and over $ 1000 repair. Very bad service and bad product.

Had a low pressure and hassle free experience buying a used car at this dealer. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is having to wait quite a while to sign paperwork. I would definitely shop here and buy from them again.

Bring my car here for oil change which usually takes a full hour but last time I was there it took 2 since it was on a saturday but I thought they are busy so it’s ok as long as it gets done. The next day I realized they didn’t pit any windshield fluid at all but on the paper work they said they checked it, hmm wonder what else they said they «checked» but actually didnt.

THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER.
I purchased a vehicle here less than 2 months ago, I have already taken the car in for service twice. First was the brake switch and the front bumper was popping out one month after owning the vehicle. Not happy but what you gonna do. I waited probably 3.5 hours for the whole thing to complete during the first visit. One week after the first service visit, though I thought the bumper was fixed, it started popping out again like before! Very unhappy because apparently they didn’t fix it the first time.
Scheduled an appointment, showed up on time, checked in, and then an hour later still there was nobody even coming up to me to keep me updated. So I went to ask the service staff Angela Gomes «Can you tell me how much longer my car is going to take?» She was totally rude and unhelpful, tried to send me off by saying «Your car is back there, they are working on it, I don’t know.» I turned around and looked to where my car was parked, nobody was currently «working on it», so I asked again «Can you please find out somehow how long it is going to take?» She acted annoyed and said «There is no way I could know, I don’t know.» So for the THIRD TIME, I asked «CAN YOU PLEASEEEEE ASK SOMEBODY WHO WOULD KNOW?!» She was upset and I was upset, at the end she told me she will let me know and got me out of her office.
And nope Angela never let me know what happened. I realized that she was unhelpful so I just stood outside of the service area and got the service manager attention. He went to check my car for me, and 5 minutes later I was told that they need to replace my bumper bracket because the clips they installed when I took my car in for the first time are not long enough to reach the bracket to make the bumper stay in place. They are charging me more to fix the same issue! I don’t know about car but I have common sense okay? I told the manager that I’m not paying for their mistake, and he was like «Do you want your car fix or what?» I asked for refund for the last «fix» because they admit that they fixed the wrong thing, and I was refused because «We cannot refund you for the things that have been done.» Oh really? WHY ON EARTH AM I PAYING FOR YOUR MISTAKE?! I don’t need your insincere apology I just want my damn bumper fix for good!
In the end I had my boyfriend to speak with the service manager on the phone because I felt strongly that he was taking advantage of me as I am a female and I do not know too much about cars. On the phone he told my boyfriend that I had hit the parking curbs too many times HARD so the bracket got weaken, which was a total false accusation because I have never hit this car once since I’ve bought it, there is no scratch whatsoever. The funny thing is, after my bf confronted him that normal cars could take slight bump on curbs which should not be a reason for my bumper to pop out like that, and the manager changed the story and said that all Mazdas tend to have problems with the bumper. We knew that this group of blood suckers only care to make more money at the present and do not care about return customers, so we compromised and paid for the expense FOR THE SECOND TIME.
It took me 2 hours to get out. A total waste of time and the experience was utterly uncomfortable and I swear that I will never come back and I will spread out the words to everyone I know that never go to this dealership.
⁷⁄₂₇ update: Two weeks after the second appointment intended to get the front bumper fixed, the same issue occurred again! What a total waste of time and money. I finally took it to two other body shops to get an estimate, and I was told by both places that the bumper was damaged and I’ll have to replace the whole bumper to fix the issue! Mazda of Mesquite said this car had never been in an accident before and apparently it did! Its service department never even mentioned ONCE about anything to do with the bumper, they just kept me going back and charged me for things that were not a fix! This business has no morale and they don’t intend to have return customers, BUYERS BEWARE!

I have purchased two vehicles from this location. Their only intent is to sell you a car and they could not care less about you after the purchase. I find the Finance Department to be the most difficult to work with. The finance manager that assisted me was Robert Bass. He did the usual by providing paper work to sign etc. After completing the paper work I was told to contact him if I had any issue.
To date I have attempted to contact Robert on several occasions to no avail. I refinanced my loan through another bank and requested Mazda of Mesquite to cancel my GAP insurance. It’s been almost 2 months since I submitted my request to cancel the GAP insurance and to date I have not received 1. A confirmation of the cancellation and 2. A refund for the amount paid to cover the GAP insurance.
I emailed Mazda and got no response. I called and left a voicemail message and got no response. I called and asked to speak with a manager who guaranteed that my refund would be processed within the week. Needless to say, that didn’t happen. To date no refund has been issued.
This dealership is fraudulent. They tell you that you are required to give them a 10 out of 10 rating on the reviews given to Mazda. Failure to do so will mean they lose certain concessions.
Don’t try working or talking with anyone in their Finance Department. It’s pointless. As for the sales agent that worked with me, I received a generic email thanking me for my purchase. I emailed the agent about a week after purchase for questions about the sale and the manufacturer’s warranty. It’s been two months and I have yet to receive a response. One would hope that a dealership goes beyond the sale. Working well with your customers it what guarantees a the most return on investment. Failure to do so will lead to discontinued loyalty to the brand and to your specific dealership.

I just had a sensor light issue resolved at the service department of Mazda Mesquite. We purchased our car from the sales department of the same dealership last year. The problem is that it took me four visits to take care of a simple issue because they act as if you are bothering them if you are there for an under warranty repair.
Before my first visit I actually tried to make an appointment online but didn’t hear back from them. When I visited in person I was told ‘it could take as little as an hour but there is a chance they cannot service it the same day because of scheduled appointments’. When I told I tried to make an appointment myself the answer was something like ‘yeah the internet doesn’t always work’ which didn’t make any sense at all. Anyways, I didn’t want to spend the rest of my day waiting there so I verbally scheduled an appointment and left.
During the second visit, our car was serviced but we were told that we need to come back the next day because of a missing part.
When we went back the third time, we were told that the technician that can repair our car is not in that day so we needed to come back later, although this was the exact same day that they wanted us to come back.
And finally during our fourth visit, we were able to get the issue resolved after a two and a half hour wait.
Based on this whole experience I think that will be my last visit to this dealership.

The wait for servoce was three hours. The charge for changing a baytery was $ 37. This is a great place to go if you have more dollars than sense.

It’s the least I’ve hated the car-​buying expereience ever in my whole life. That’s sayin’ something. I’m sure there are fancier Mazda dealerships out there, but I got a great deal on exactly the car I wanted. And that, not the Hokey Pokey, is what it’s all about.

My purchase on a semi new, CPO vehicle was easy and pain free. My sales rep Elva was awesome and helpful every step of the way. I got an incredible price on my CPO 2014 Mazda CX-​5 GT and a fantastic warranty.
Elva and her crew bent over backwards to make certain I was happy with my purchase and for that I’m very grateful. I’ll definitely be recommending others shop from Mazda of Mesquite!

So yea. I bought a new car. I’m a big girl now! After months and months and months and months of visiting car dealerships and feeling the ultimate «car salesman pressure» from some of them, I took a little break to re-​group my sanity.
One afternoon whilst looking online, I came across Mazda of Mesquite and noticed that their new car incentives were balls out. Called the MP and said… lets do this.
Upon arrival (after 6pm on a Thursday) we were greeted by Herman. Totally cool man. Asked us what we were looking for, did we want to test drive? Yada yada… even let MP sit in the front (which other dealerships wouldn’t do). I decided after the test drive and meeting the sales manager and throwing out some numbers, that it was either now or never… this deal is as good as it gets! So I pulled the trigger. The sales manager and Herman were soooo nice and patient throughout everything regardless of that fact that when we made the deal it was almost 8pm. They gave me an incredible price on my trade in, gave my new baby a car wash before I left the lot and a lifetime of FREE car washes at the dealership! Oh and a free tank of gas since the gas station was closed, they couldn’t fill up… it was almost 10pm.
The finance guy was awesome. Robert. Totally knew his schizz. Congratulated me on my new car and went over every little slimy detail, answered every question I had, gave me his card and said to call him with any issues or questions. All this took 20 minutes.
When we drove off the lot it was a like a movie, everyone waving goodbye, teary eyed and me in my shiny new car. Even when I went to pick up my plates a few weeks later, Herman greeted me, remembered my name and asked me how I was liking my car. Obviously I’m loving it and my homies at Mazda.
