Came here today based on Unilocal reviews. Won’t return. Food was okay but ambiance was awful. Faded pictures from the 80s with half dead ivy hanging on it. A velvet picture of Elvis. I’ll stop. I could fix this in one day. Also needs painting. Hopefully the owners will see this and do something. I go to local diners all the time so I’m not someone who avoids this type of place. But this one is too edgy.

Came here solely based on my fellow Unilocalers’ review and was not disappointed. I had the eggs Benedict, my friends had Super Extra omelet and the chicken fajita omelet. My girlfriend asked for salsa and the made her freshly chopped salsa, which was exactly what she had in mind. Great service. Great prices.

Good quality food at decent prices. Great menu selection and they serve breakfast all day. Service is fast and attentive, seat yourself and someone immediately gets your drink order.
Friendly quiet environment seats about 50 people. TV on the wall quietly plays the local news in the morning.

Great food at really great prices. I always been driving past this place, glad I was actually able to stop in and enjoy a great meal. The food came out pretty fast and the staff was friendly. The average price was 6.99 were a dinner meal! That’s a steal compared to your typical chain restaurant.

What a change of pace. What can I say? The food was delicious, fresh and home made. The service was fabulous. Nothing went wrong and the prices were very reasonable. You get a lot of value at this place. Try the omelets and egg meals will not be disappointed. Can not go wrong with this gem in Mesquite.

My family loves Mesquite Diner! No matter the time of day we can usually find a seat without waiting too long. I always order breakfast, and am always pleased with the taste and quality of food. Price is great as well! The staff is very friendly and they make you feel welcome.

Very good food, large selection of menu items. Breakfast served all day. It has a laid back atmosphere and fast service.
